Iv got ipad 8th generation, i need it for my flying on cessna, will it do the job for yoke??

It fits the yoke perfectly. However, during flight I noticed all the joints start to weaken and iPhone or iPad starts to shift and loosen it's position due to weight. What I ended up doing, found the position I need all the joints to be at, then fused via silicon permanently. Again, It works for me once I found the position I wanted it to stay at. I do like it and would buy it again if this one brakes.
