With wood and steel plyo boxes, a major challenges with getting athletes to perform box jumps is the very real fear of injuring themselves while doing the movement. This applies to new and advanced athletes, since they are reluctant to push their limits on taller boxes for the same reason. If an athlete does not commit to the jump out of fear, the chances of getting hurt further increase. AgileFit Octagonal Plyos. The problem up until now with most square and rectangular and 3-in-1 foam plyo boxes is that they tend to be unstable, and have a tendency to tip over especially at higher jump heights, since their bases are small. AgileFit Octagonal Plyos takes care of this problem. AgileFit Octagonal Foam Plyometric Boxes are a perfect solution for both these problems. Their 36"x 36" octagonal footprint provides the necessary stability to prevent tipping, and they are firm enough to perform plyometric movements, but also soft enough that they are safe and will not scrape-up or injure your shins if you miss the jump. The individual levels can be used alone, or attached together in any order to create 3-inch increments in the jump height. Athletes can customize the height of the box so that they can either work their way up in small increments to a specific workout height or keep pushing themselves to their personal best box jump, without fear of getting hurt!
