I’ve been using the Femometer Vinca II Basal Thermometer, and it’s really helpful for tracking ovulation and understanding my cycle. The readings are quick and accurate, and the backlit screen makes it easy for me to check the temperature even early in the morning. The app connection is simple to use and helps track patterns over time, which is useful for fertility awareness or cycle monitoring. Overall: A reliable basal thermometer that’s easy for me to use daily and feels like good value for money for anyone tracking ovulation or cycles

Love this product! Been unsure about my ovulation for the last few years but one month with this thermometer and the app it comes with I now know I am! The thermometer is really easy to use and uploads everything to the app. Very Impressed with the app as well very detailed and Includes everything you need- and Interprets all your data and is easy to understand! Highly recommend!

Takes ages to finalise measurement and battery lasted less than a month.

This review is for: Basal Thermometer for Ovulation, Fertility Monitor & Period Tracker with LED Screen for NFP, Trying to Conceive, Intelligent BBT Thermometer with femometer APP(iOS & Android) - Vinca 2.0 There are few different ways to check human body temperature: forehead, in-ear, in oral. I've ordered this one, as I prefer to do it old fashion way :) And this thermometer fulfill all my needs. It's small, quick (bit more about that later on) and it does the job. What else to expect? It is designed to check temperature in your mouth, but I found it good enough to check temperature under arm too. Results were almost the same. What I like in it is that it comes with a case. Removing it from a case switch it on and it is ready to check temperature. When it is done it makes a sound and it switch itself off after few seconds. So, it's basic function works as it should. But there is also mobile app and that's where magic start to happens :) It stores all previous results. But it can do more than that. Once you pair thermometer with app - you can choose how quickly it should check your body temperature. You can see more details on one of my photos. You can also switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. And you can setup reminder for regular temperature checks if needed. Lastly you can see last check on battery level together with date and time when it was checked. Although it was only graphical for me. When I tried to get more details it gave me an error (see photo), even when thermometer was connected with my mobile/app. Another weird thing was that setting allows me to change time how quickly it should check. I've noticed that it only worked properly when mobile app was opened. When I had it closed, thermometer "forgot" what setting I've chosen (quick - 30 sec) and it took usually around a minute or longer to check. It is not big issue for me and possibly it could be rectified with future firmware update, but it is something worth mentioning for those who will be surprised about this too. So, if you want quick checks - you need to have mobile app opened. If you don't mind waiting bit longer - you don't need mobile app at all. Regarding mobile app - it has loads of feature related to female fertility cycle. Since I am a man it is impossible for me to test them. But It is worth to mention that those are there (in app). So, if you are woman that wants to get pregnant or maybe even to choose your child gender (yes, it is possible to certain level, not 100%) then this thermometer together with its mobile app might be perfect choice for you. Obviously I am not planning to get pregnant 🤭 but I love that mobile app. I am planning to use it mostly to track my temperature next time when I will be sick. It might be interesting experience. So, if you are looking just for simple thermometer then you might find cheaper one. But if you are planning to get pregnant, or like me - use that mobile app features then this thermometer could be for you. £19.99 (price at the time of my review) is very good price especially when you consider all those mobile app features.

Within the app, you can customise things like your cycle length, temperatures, and more to get personalised fertile window predictions each cycle. It even sends notifications for optimal days to try for conception. The included button cell battery just sips power thanks to the auto-off function after each reading. Whether you're trying for a baby now or just want to get to know your cycle better, this smart BBT thermometer is an absolute game-changer. The seamless Femometer app integration makes temping and tracking so simple. It's an investment I'd recommend to any fertility-conscious woman!

I really wanted to like this basal thermometer, but a couple of things have let it down badly for me. The thermometer itself is small and looks decent, and when it actually works it seems reasonably accurate and easy enough to use. The real problems start as soon as you try to use it with the app. I’ve had repeated connection issues where it either won’t switch on properly or just refuses to link to the app, which is frustrating when you’re trying to track first thing in the morning. On top of that, a lot of the “intelligent” tracking and charting is locked behind a paid subscription that isn’t made very obvious up front – you effectively need to pay yearly to get the full benefit of the device. For the price of the thermometer itself, I wasn’t expecting to have to sign up for an expensive app on top. Overall, the hardware seems fine, but the combination of unreliable app connection and ongoing subscription costs means I wouldn’t choose this again – there are simpler and clearer options out there for basic BBT tracking.
