Excellent value, works perfectly
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly. Install as closeto vertical as possible. We no longer have to fuss over great-grands not closing the gate. Excellent value.

No more chasing the fog down from the kids leaving open
It worked as stated. I hav gate on my fence that was balanced. Kids opened and forgot to close, Dogs got loose frequently. Slapped this on in 10 minutes. Twisted too adjustment about 11/2 turns and now it closes. Would recommend

Durable
Good quality spring keeps garden gates closed so livestock doesn't get in and eat everything. Well worth the money

Easy to install. Directions were great. Works great. I'd buy it again, if needed.

Does the job
I had to put plenty tension before putting the stopper lil bolt. I really advice to use full face protection like I did in case it breaks or snaps back

Houdini (dogs!) proof
Our dogs are proficient escape artists. And my husband is a bit of an "absentminded professor" type. That combo meant that we had dogs getting out and running across busy streets way too often, because he wouldn't get the gate properly latched (nor think to check if it was!) and the dogs would immediately take advantage and go off adventuring. Not good. Nagging, shaming, and recriminations didn't work. Trust me, I tried. Then my dad found these springs, and we put not one but TWO of them on each of our fence gates. It's now nearly *impossible* for a gate to be left open, because the springs just slam it shut behind the person coming or going. Perfect! No more "Ooops! I guess I forgot to check the gate!" any more. No more nagging, frustrated, anxious wife trying to watch over the gates like a prison guard, 24/7. And, most importantly, no more Houdini dogs running amok in the neighborhood or playing Frogger in the road. Hallelujah!

It was easier to install once I figured out which way to turn it! It is required for my pool so I love that it was a very affordable option!
