It does what it is meant for. It fits my samick sage 62". I use a 14 strand string and it fits very snug to my limbs. IT is very snug. takes a little time to slip them on. They do hold very well and are a rubber material. I haven't tested the resistance of it but it is a thicker cover versus what my old ones were. I see these lasting a lot longer. I have provided some pictures of measurements and fitment.

The picture provided gives an accurate depiction of the product. There were no instructions nor guidelines to aid in installation. The tips were very difficult to put on the ends of my limbs (Samick Journey) but would probably be easier to put on limbs with more narrow tips. As it is, with a fair amount of effort the tips have been installed and form a very tight protective layer over the tips without hindering string placement. A must-have item for the archers who unintentionally hit things with the ends of their recurves or wish to have a softer location for their bowstring to settle into.Note: Be sure to purchase two of these at a time if you are intending to protect both the upper and lower limbs of your bow; the page does not clearly state that the price shown is only for one rubber tip. Still very reasonably priced.

saved fragile limb tip more than once but make sure tip is narrow or will not fit. Need to work it on but then holds well (heat it in your hand for a minute). Covers string and that's how it should be.

It works but a bit dissappointed that it costs so much for a little piece of rubber. They could easily give you two or three since it probably only costs a few cents to make it. The main things is how long does it last. May have to follow up.

Bought 1 of These 40 Years Ago. Maybe Not The Same Brand, But Same Look and Feel. The One From 40 Years Ago, Still Doing It's Job.

I have a take apart recurve and this little piece not only protects the tip when resting on the ground but also keeps the lower loop in place when taking the bow apart which just makes it easier to reassemble.
