After purchasing several other types of collagen products I was attracted to this brand because of the price... And I'm not disappointed in the slightest. I can't speak for any visible results, but as someone who needed an easier way of increasing protein intake - this powder works.Taken in conjunction with a Glucosamine Chondroitin supplement, this collagen powder has decreased my recovery times after longer runs or other increases in my workout/weightloss regimen. I've opted for the Glucosamine Chondroitin route instead of a second collagen type 2 supplement just to be on the safe side - and it is a combination that I really love.Other reviews noting the difficulty mixing are accurate - just don't be afraid of the clumps, keep stirring and mixing until they're gone. I've found that stirring while slowly adding the powder incrementally pretty much alleviated the dissolving issues (baking tip in general). I have also had great success adding the powder to my latte milk when using a countertop frother, though be sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid any future frother burn spots etc... Also enjoy adding a half or full scoop to homemade sauces and salad dressings that have "mix suitable" liquids in the ingredient list (lemon juice, egg, milk, white wine, and more).If you're looking for supreme joint and cartilage support only - this might not be your powder, but if you're looking for a solid, taste-less, and affordable collagen peptide that does (eventually) mix with any beverage (hot or cold) that I've tried, not to mention being a great addition to dishes like scrambled eggs, omelettes, and frittatas - this is it.

Update: I decided to continue to use it, since I had it. After a few days, I no longer could taste it and only occasionally do I smell it, but I’ve gotten used to it. HOWEVER, since using it my joints have stopped aching. I noticed I can easily stoop down and no knee pain. As a result, I will continue to buy it in the future.I’ve been using collagen for years and have tried many brands. When I read an article saying collagen isn’t a complete protein because it lacks tryptophan, I sought out a collagen that had it. I just started using this product. I’m a hardcore health devotee, and have pushed through on bad tasting products, etc. in the past. However, the smell and taste really makes my coffee an unpleasant experience. FYI, it does blend well in coffee. I will attempt to use it in something else since it’s too late to return it. If I discover an improvement in my body, I will update this post.

Hello - this product is amazing - well at least for me. I am on my 3rd order. No flavor with it was so ever it dissolves easily. You don't even know its in your drink! I place 1 scoop in my protein shake and off i go. It has made such a difference in my joints - no longer snap and pop! My flexibility has improved and feeling stiff after just riding from home to work is so minimal!! the plus side is my face (SKIN) and hair have improved a lot - my wrinkles have smoothed away and no more crows feet around my eyes!! my friends ask me what have i been taking doing!! along with better eating habits (LOW carb diet) and drinking more water (soda is out of my life) my skin hair and nails have also improved. but i gotta say to me the best benefit is my joints and my skin!! i will continue to order this product...so to the company please dont change the product unless its to "seriously" improve it - if so your customer will stay with you! lol!

I used this for all the reasons we need collagen. Loved this because it comes from all the 5+ collagen sources and full amino acid profile including tryptophan (so it made me tired in the day and that’s why I started to put in my evening soup or broth..I prefer it in liquids) AND it’s more than 16oz so more for your $$. And the taste is as good as other tasteless ones, I do notice it a little in coffee, my beverage preference ) could not be noticed in a smoothie or anything more flavorful... but it’s totally fine with me knowing I’m getting the collagen I need. It’s Right amount of protein for 1 scoop so it’s not a low amount like others and excellent for doubling the scoop and it can still last a month.

I bought this product only because this version of Collagen Peptide powder had L-Tryptophan in it thinking that I needed it. It turns out I was wrong.Day 1. I took this CP supplement and experienced a headache by the end of the night. Thought maybe I was just dehydrated and wrote it off as a fluke.Day 2. I took it again mid afternoon and later in the evening, I got nauseated and vomited.I stopped taking it after that and immediately ordered CP from another company I had bought before. I have never had any issues from taking CP from the other 3 companies I've bought from before, so I was surprised that I had such a strong negative reaction to this version. After looking into L-Tryptophan supplements further, I found that it can make some people ill when taking it in supplement form. Plus, I didn't need to take it because I eat a lot of fish weekly and fish has adequate amounts L-Tryptophan in it. L-Tryptophan is also in other meats. DYOR and consult a doctor to find out if you should take this supplement.
