The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection (Wordsworth Box Set)

Came on time, if not earlier, and in perfect condition. I'm just getting into Sherlock Holmes as we speak but these books have beautiful small illustrations on every few pages and the front covers are lovely too. Font size is rather smaller than the usual, but nothing that good lighting can't fix. I noticed some reviews complained about the box the books are in arriving damaged - i had the luck of receiving a pristine collection of all items included, and i think it's important to remember that the seller has nothing to do with the state an item arrives in. If this is that big of an issue, i urge those affected to contact their delivery services rather than putting the blame on the seller. Overall very satisfied with my new Sherlock Holmes collection!!

Lovely collection. It came well packed. I got it at a bargain price and I was so surprised by the design and paper quality. A must have for a book lover

For the cost,a nice way to get pretty much the entire Holmes collection.I read most of these as a teenager,now being somewhat older🤫,its really nice to go back and read all the classic tales.Finding illustrations within is unexpected and a nice idea.The typeface is a tad smaller than I'd ideally like plus the page/paper quality isn't the best.But really,for a sub £20 price-its churlish to complain.

Purchased from Amazon arrived pretty quickly I live in Ireland. Alot of reviewers commented that the parcel was damaged on arrival. I cannot complain when I opened the package every thing was perfect. As regards the font size small print does not bother me but it's still easy read the pages. If your thinking about buying this series, well you know all about Sherlock and his adventures.

A nice set. Some of the stories appear in more than one of these books.

The full canon in paperback form (although I originally thought ‘His Last Bow’ was missing, it’s alright It’s there!) including the original illustrations, plus additional stories from writers contemporary to ACD. A very good buy for all Sherlockians.

I believe every Sherlock Holmes story is in this bundle. They are very entertaining and the writing is brilliant. Font is a little small for me but overall it's a great purchase.

This was purchased as a present for a family member and so they are very satisfied with the books as they are exactly like what was shown on the web-site and they are easily readable and in very good condition and the person to whom they were purchased for hadn't had long to wait for them to be delivered

Got someone who is interested in mystery stories? And doesn't want to read from a computer screen (since the original Sherlock Holmes stories' copyrights have expired so you can read them for free legally at Gutenberg Project website)? This is a great set. Not ideal if you want to keep it for your library though as the paper quality is the rough type that will turn yellow.

I got this as a gift set for someone. I looked around for one with illustrations and for the complete set and I was glad I found a winner! Pros: Illustrations (though it should be noted that not every book has illustrations) Nice artwork on books and on box set Full Sherlock Holmes set, including short stories Cons: Paperback (though I personally don’t mind) Small font I hope this is a helpful description for fellow prospective readers.

I had read one of the books in high school but has a pleasant rediscovery of the piece, as I navigated through the entire series in temporal order. Sherlock Holmes is one of the best fictional characters ever created, and I enjoyed finally piecing his entire story together.
