Why can't I make complete ice balls (half and half)?

Please fill liquid above the indicated water line, then, while closing the lid, it's crucial to line up the both side of the trays (with different width), and you should hear a light click to make sure the trays are closed tightly.

Why do ice balls sometimes have ice edges?

If too much water is added, the ice balls could be "linked" together after freezing, during the making process, it is sufficient to pour water just a little above the water line.

How to clean these plastic ice cube trays?

Our ice trays are made of quality food-grade plastic, so it's NOT recommended to put them into your dishwasher (high temperature may cause deformation), please clean the ice trays with running water, with detergent if necessary.
