Follow the directions
I have a small hole under a cap that the dentist said they could not fix. I used this to fill that hole (as it was getting food in it) and it works great. You can not even tell it's filled, looks natural. You must ensure that the tooth defect is clean and DRY. If you follow the directions, it works fine. I have had this hole filled about 2 months and it still looks fine. A lot cheaper than a visit to the dentist. Mixing can be a challenge, but there is plenty of material there in case you make mistakes.

Last for mouths or longer once you do it right
I used it to build a dental bridge over a broken crown (90% missing) and neighboring teeth. It allowed me to chew with it without any problems until I saw dental surgeon 4-5 weeks later. At the time of removal this temporary filling still looked rock-solid, like a piece of quartz. Shortly after a toot with enormous cavity cracked. A dentist refused to treat it without doing crown. I did temporary filling that restored all tooth functionality until I found another dentist, two (2) months later, who agreed to try permanent filling first before doing crown. He was quite impressed with quality of this temporary filling. After 2 months it still looked very strong. It seemed to me that the permanent filling did not fill the tooth high enough so I added an extra layer of this temporary filling until I could see third dentist dentist. Once I did, the dentist stated that the temporary filling was too strong and bonded with the rest of the tooth to safely remove it. So it stayed.I used this kit many times with varying success. One thing I noticed is that making sure my tooth is 100% dry before placing filling and stays perfectly dry at least 15min after makes big difference how hard the filling becomes. I fill area around the tooth with paper towel pieces and replace it when needed. Fillings that got wet never lasted more than 2-4 days. Then I let it “cure” for 2-3 hours, not drinking or eating, since I do not have (yet) that blue uv light that my dentist uses, that could speed up curing. These lights (identical to what my dentist uses) are sold on eBay for $20-$30. According to a clinical study I read recently online, a dental filling is only 27% cured after the first week. It gets stronger with time.
