Great DD Wheel with plenty of power to relay information. Good quality build. A little on the large side base but if your want the active cooling then thats part of the size. Good quality rim. Had a lot of experience with wheels so have good comparisons and can say this wheel was one of the best I've tried. I got the PC only base and would advise anyone to get the Playstation base to cover off all future possibilities.

I have used all the main branded direct drive wheel bases, and have a very good knowledge of what is good and bad. This wheel base is just okay, usable for its intended purpose, but totally overpriced, and I would not recommend it. The things I like are, the overall build quality is good on the exterior, even thought is mostly plastic, it's well made and would last a long time. The wheel itself is very well produced, and I think it will also stand the test of time. The software is easy to use, but flawed. As it can often not open and stall, or get stuck updating firmware. Which when you're trying to jump into a race, it is not acceptable. The software also updates itself a lot, so you can be stuck waiting for that. The driving feel of the DD is okay, but can feel a bit numb and rubbery with some cars and tracks. Not many settings available to tweek in the settings, so you have to make the most of what is there. I'm used to a lot more. When switching car and track, the difference between your settings is far greater with this DD than say a Fanatec device. As I would rarely change my Fanatec setting if jumping from ACC to AMS2 for example, with this Logi DD you have to make a lot of changes on the fly, to readjust your settings, because the difference is huge. You can make changes on the fly via the wheel and screen. Which is something I like, but that is nothing new in the sim racing world, and I'd prefer it if the settings were more stable between sims and vehicles. It comes very well packaged though, Logitech did that right, and the unboxing experience gives you a positive start. I did also like the quick release, it's very well done, but as there is only one wheel available at time of writing this review, it is pointless to take the wheel off. Its when living with this device on a daily basis occurs that disappointment kicks in. The relentless software stalling or updating ruins the experience, combined with actual numb driving experience. There are better options available for less money. For the price paid for this, it should be a lot better than it is. Also, consider the size and shape if looking to mount it on your rig, as it is huge, and cheese wedge shaped. Which could cause issues for some rigs. It does weirdly have feet at the front as well, which could also interfere with setting it on a rig. I have the playseat trophy, and it fit perfectly thankfully. I had to return mine due to the continual time lost fiddling with the software, and the settings in-between sims. I just want to get in and drive, not lose an hour every day or so messing with software. It did also start clicking, which there are a lot of reports online, which did not fill me with a lot of confidence. For the money, no, find something else from a more established dedicated sim racing company. One to avoid in my opinion.

The wheel itself is brilliant, I needed a new wheel at short notice and this is fantastic for the price. The only drawback in my opinion is Logitech completely ignoring the side of the Direct Drive market that would like to use a different wheel on this wheelbase. This has been out for well over a year now but still no sign of being able to mount our own wheels to it.

Very happy with purchase. Wheel gives amazing feedback and works great on pc. No issues with setup in any game and software works really well. It is a little pricey especially with price drops for fanatec wheels and new Moza ones that look to be great too. Have no regrets though. Logitech have good support and will keep the wheel update for years to come. Loving it.
