First off, I have to point out a very important detail about this bug vacuum...before using this on an actual bug, I tested the suction against my hand, expecting a vacuum-like suction against my skin, but I felt very little suction, so I didn't have high hopes, and to be honest, I almost chalked it up as a loss and returned it. I'm so glad I didn't because after seeing a stink bug climbing on the wall, I put this up to the bug, pulled the trigger, and the bug was IMMEDIATELY pulled into the jar like magic! I was shocked that it actually worked and worked well! The bug wasn't harmed, and I was able to quickly close the top of the jar to trap it in. I've since caught numerous stink bugs, and each time it's like one second, they're at the opening, and the next second, they're in the jar. It's pretty cool. I'm still confused about how it works so well since it feels like there's little to no suction against my hand. So, don't let that fool you. It works! 100%! And as an added plus, it doesn't cause the bugs to release their nasty smell like they have when I've used my dyson. Highly recommend.

Cute toy and cute concept. The suction was not as much as we were expecting so had to work a little bit to figure out how to get the ladybug we found up. Has a neat little flip lid inside so the bugs can’t escape which came in super helpful when the canister fell off while my child was running through the kitchen to show me the bug he caught. He started freaking out screaming that there were bugs lose in the house running for his life, I ran to the kitchen only to find all was well in our world… bugs were slightly shaken but still contained!

My son and I are having so much fun with this thing! I use it to catch flies in the windows for our pet jumping spider mostly. He likes to count how many ants he can find 😂 the vacuum is kind of loud but gentle and effective with its high and low settings, detachable jar with twisty close inner lid is very helpful for transferring bugs to other containers, and so far has proven very sturdy.

I was excited to finally catch bugs without harming and release outside. Weak suction. Tried it on many different insects, sizes, types, none were captured. The only bugs that went into the chamber were the ones that got confused and either jumped or flew inside. Even so I tried to suction those down into the cup. Nope, they weren't phased by the weak air. I'm going to try out a computer keyboard vacuum I bought last year. Honestly I wouldn't buy this for a kid that will end up disappointed. This grown kid sure was. 😑

Got this as a Xmas gift for my 7 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He has caught so many bugs with this to feed his lizards. Definitely a win for Santa! Great quality, the suction is amazing, and very easy to use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Saw someone say to use this for squash bugs and it’s worked great for that! No harm to my plants and gets them off my plants!
