This set of disks the heritage of the great master speaks for itself. All albums are different art, progressive, pop-rock, classic talks about the breadth of his talent. Undoubtedly, this kit should have true connoisseurs of music.

All the albums together. Amazing. Have been looking for years to get the individual ones, but was always offered compilation albums. Some would be impossible to find individually. And the price is so good like less than 2 pounds per album. Thank to Demis Roussos children for putting together this great collection of all their fathers work.

Fantastic Demis collection

This box set is a real must for anyone who likes Demis Roussos. Lovingly put together with the help of his family it covers his complete work from the gorgeous Fire and Ice to the very last song he ever recorded (one year after his final album and unavailable elsewhere). I purchased my copy at the Demis Roussos Museum in Nijkerk, but Amazon will have it in just a few days from now apparently. I love all the rare stuff - there's tons of it here - and all the sleeves are beautifully recreated for this box set. I really believe you will not find a box set by any artist that is as beautiful as this.

This set is a must have not only for the hardcore fans of Demis Roussos, but also for anyone with deep interest in pop music in general, and for any collector. The set actually consist not 28, but 31 original solo Demis Roussos albums (3 of them are added as bonuses), plus many non-album bonus tracks and rarities. The variety of musical styles represented here, covering 40 years of recording solo career is so vast, and the voice and the arrangements are so different in the respective periods and genres, that makes one wonders is this the same artist on all these recordings. Prog-rock, psychedelic, ethno pop, folk, reggae, real American disco, euro pop, funk, Latin vibes, krautrock, techno pop, French chansons and German Schlagers, new age, soul, vintage rock…and all this sung with a voice ranging from soaring warble, trough powerful full bodied sound, to gravelly soulful Joe Cocker – like delivery. So this set really shows the long and interesting musical journey of a unique and authentic artist.Note that none of his Aphrodite’s Child output is included in this set – it’s strictly focused on his solo career.
