I needed a Dutch Oven Pot, big enough so I could cook stew, or soup, or pasta sauce , I am 100 percent Italian, and I do most of my cooking from scratch, I wanted something I could use on top of the stove and slow cook most of my meals, this was the perfect size, not too small not too big ,Since I have this pot I have made a Lamb Stew , and my Italian pasta sauce, both came out to perfection, also this cleaned up beautifully, I would not hesitate recommending this pot to anyone who loves to cook, this went beyond my expectations. Pot is sturdy yet lightweight. Great for every day cooking. Has curved bottom good for stir fry meat and vegetables.

This pot is awful. The aluminum is too thin and the aluminum residue comes off on your hands and anything you wipe it with, which probably means the residue will likely leech into the food you're cooking in it. Appears very unsafe to cook with and a waste of money.

Nice pot for the price. Cooked some creole tomato and shrimp stew in it and it was delicious.

I like the shape of the Calderon which is why I purchased it. It’s not heavy/made of thick metal but it serves my purpose which is mainly making curry and rice dishes. For the price it is more than adequate. The only complaints are the non-insulated handles (the top handle doesn’t get hot) and the sticker that was glued to the side of the pan. It took a half hour to get that cleaned off before I could use it.

Good quality for the price, easy to clean ,heat distribute evenly and cook rice well
