The media could not be loaded.  I needed a secure area for my new kitten to introduce her to my yorkiepoo and an area for her to sleep and play in on the early days of having her. This was perfect with the top opening and large space. This one is the large size. It was easy to build, came with instructions. I would only recommend for kittens, cats, rabbits, small to medium breed puppies and small breed dogs.It arrived undamanaged and in perfect condition. Looks lovely.

Pros:The playpen itself is reasonably sturdy once assembledThe materials used are puppy friendlyThe door is easy to operateThe inclusion of an attached tray is great for puppy spills/ accidents and allows easy cleaningThe playpen is attractive and well thought outCons:The mesh lid of the playpen didn't fit correctly from the start. We assumed this was down to us rather than the actual quality of the unit, until we discovered that during an afternoon where we were not observing the pup, she managed to not only chew through the velcro straps, but also pull the whole lid down into the pen and use as a ramp to get out.OverallThis was a more costly purchase than other alternatives... for us the main benefits were the integrated base tray and the lid. We paid over £100 for the unit with other alternatives coming in at less than half the cost, and in hindsight we should have gone with a simpler standard playpen for our pup.The unit is reasonably well made, but the fact that pup has destroyed the lid, and the tray base has become stained (mostly by the fact that the dog has chewed the plastic coating from some of the lower parts of the metal cage, and these have rusted).I would not recommend this playpen for puppies, but it may serve well for animals that do not need the lid part.

Bought this for my puppy to keep him safe, good quality, easy to assemble, as I needed asap bought one with a roof on it, didn’t put the top on as my puppy wouldn’t be able to climb out. Ended up getting 2 so I could have one up stair and down stairs. I first saw one at breeders home, Amazon delivered next day, Perfect for puppies or small dogs

Instructions were included but I found the screws a bit troublesome, hard to screw in straight & even now it's all assembled, don't feel very confident about the unit's stability...shan't be moving it any more than necessary, that's for sure! That said, I got it for an upcoming litter of Exotic babies to aid in their toilet training once weaned and the size is just perfect. It will also provide a place of safety to shoot into shd they feel insecure. It's opposite my sofa so I can keep an eye on them & there's plenty of room for mum. And it's so pretty to look at. I feel that considering the terrible exchange rate & the cost of delivery from Wisconsin, at £63 this item is definitely value for money, however it says no pet over 10lbs, and I don't think I'd buy it myself for a boisterous dog or puppy even within this weight limit, only for an older, gentle & less playful small dog. But perhaps I'm being over cautious & I do have a rather unreasonable expectation of things lasting at least a lifetime! But do get one, I'm sure you'll be as pleased with it as I am every time I see it. PS: Now my kittens are here, I love the added bonus of being able to open & close the lid (roof)so easily to check on the babies, by resting the lid against my bureau - up & down it goes, all day long! And there's loads of room for mum and her kittens.

Bought for puppy to crate train, but ours is quite the Houdini, so at just 3-4 month he managed to push the lid open (only held by velcro loops) and get out. Need 2 set of hands ideally to assemble quickly, but possible to do single-handedly too. Easy enough to clean, except the groove around where cage slots in, so would have to unclip tray for proper cleaning; ended up with all the myriades of ripped up training pad bits stuck, so decided to leave the wee beast free and crate now disassembled and up for sale.

I have 3 of these. I have 6 shih tzus and the medium size will fit 3 shih tzus in. They look great , easy to build but the clips that hold the crate down are flimsy. My dogs realised if they knock the side of the crate the clips just pop off and they can get out. I use these crates for bed time only and for the puppies to sleep in. Other than the clips I like these crates , light weight and easy to keep clean. I like the fact the roof is Velcro and easy to lift up and down
