With mixed reviews I was a bit dubious about this product but I was sold on the idea that it would reduce my plastic waste. Even if the water filtered wasn't quite up to Brita quality it was a fair trade off. However I was very pleasantly surprised. Easy to put together and slotted perfectly into my Brita jug. I've recently moved from a very soft to a very hard water area and am missing being able to make a decent cup of tea and coffee. Having completed the initial 3 fill and discards I used my first jug of useable filtered water to fill the kettle and make a pot of tea. The result... a perfect cuppa ☕ 👌 noticeably improved strength, no floating limescale, and perfect crisp clear taste. The cup of tea I've been missing out on for 7 months! Same for coffee and next to no limescale residue in the teapot or cup. Surprised and delighted and in terms of lime removal much better than my Brita cartridges. Can't see myself going back to them now. Combined with reduced plastic waste it's a win-win for me 👍

These are a great idea. And use less plastic. Easy to assemble.Just needs a little bit of patience waiting for the filtered water.They are as good as the originals.

I purchased this with good intentions of using less plastic, simple. However when the time came to replace the granules, it was messy emptying the container, followed instructions to refill the container but then the water wouldn’t filter through, just got stuck. Complete waste of time.
