Tired of back flushing? Buy these.
These perforated metal circles prevent coffee grounds from backing up into the head of your expensive espresso machine. When the espresso starts tasting a little nasty, I would backflush every two weeks or so but now, I only have to do it every two or three months. Does not adversely effect coffee flavor and may actually improve the flavor.

Great flow, and helps with ease of cleaning the portafilter area
Love it! Went ahead and bought 2 because I have 2 portafilters for my Breville machine. I saw a review to use the pucks to help with the flow of the water and even distribution of the flow and espresso.It fits perfect for my Brevilla portafilters. I don’t have to worry about the espresso grinds getting stuck in the portafilter area - so less cleaning!

This item REALLY KEEPS MY EXPRESSO MACHINE CLEAN !
I like the words on the disc . The price is decent too . My only issue was it's a bit unfinished and rough on the sides . Still works and completely eliminated all the coffee power getting up into my expensive expresso machine 👌

Love it. Just have to be careful to take it out because it gets very hot.
