excellent sharpening rod. Requires patience if you have knicks in your knife, but you'll be very happy you got it. I bought mine for camping touchups, so the orange handle is very welcome

OK for general kitchen use. Gets used every time a knife is used. Helps refresh the edge. My father had one that had a wooden handle and was magnetic. Wish this was like his, but my grandson has the old one now.

Will NOT RUST!!! Functions great
I'm still new to this, but I thought they ALL rusted and that was just the nature of the beast. Maybe it will rust over time, but every other one I've seen has to have the rust sanded off each day. Not this one. I definitely notice a difference in how well it turns the edge of my blades back. Great for high speed swine or beef slaughter lines! It was worth the extra money. Get a GREAT steel if speed is important. This is a GREAT steel.

Worth the money.
I have purchased a few honing tools in my career. That is one of my favorite that I have found so far. It’s an amazing product and it get sharpen even the dullest and most neglected knifes in my kitchen, due to not having the best of the best till this time. I truly appreciate having such a reliable and durable product. Thank you.
