500 Chameleon Uv Multi Color Changing Reactive Plastic Pony Beads - Also Glows in the Dark by 3drom

These beads are brilliant. Just wish they came in different shapes. The Orange and yellow could do with being saturated a bit more. Very difficult to distinguish colours even in the strongest sunlight. These two colours will only change in natural daylight not under artificial uv light.

AMENDED review!! - Bought for fun & as a teaching aid for primary children - as in ''look Mrs B's bracelet has changed colour - WHY??' I bought the 500pc set & should have got the 1000 to give me more pattern & colour options. Around 75 beads each of fuchsia, purple, light & dark pink, A pale yellow & green. I would strongly recommend leaving your beads in natural light for at least 24 hours to allow the colour change to develop faster on future exposure. & reduce frustration when weaving your pattern. All the beads glow in the dark & do REALLY GLOW - accidentally spilt the pot hard to see in daylight, but soooo easy in the dark! I'd suggest sorting out the colours in strong daylight before you start & away you go! I'll upload a photo when the bracelet is complete. I'll buy again

Bought these for our daughters to get crafty with while on holiday. They glow well when charged, but the UV colour changing is a bit disappointing. You HAVE to be outside in full sun to get ALL the beads to change colour, behind a window very few will change, for us only the pink & purple ones.

I'd say about 40% of the beads actually changed colour in UV light. I've had them for a few weeks, and now hardly any of them change in the light anymore... sorely disappointed.

At first I was skeptical as to how good these were actually going to be. Omg I couldn't have been more wrong. These beads are amazing. They are really very reactive in the sun, with strong colours when in good uv with a nice range of hues. The glow in the dark is incredible, I've genuinely never seen anything else that glows like these. So far I've made a bracelet with these and love the look on people's faces when I go from inside to outside and my white bracelet is suddenly multicoloured! Will definitely recommend them to anyone who asks about them!

Arrived on time and as described. It has been overcast since they arrived so the colours appear rather pale but there is a definite change and I expect the colours to appear stronger in brighter sunlight.

But them in a box in the sun,and sorted the colours,great,will make bracelets for my friends children ,and they do glow in the dark,

Amazing colours in sunlight. Unfortunately the beads have rough edges so need to be sanded before use. This is the same with a lot of pony beads.
