Batman & Robin by Peter J. Tomasi & Patrick Gleason Omnibus Hardcover – 14 Nov. 2017

Of all the New 52 books this is the one you want, i know some fans of the Batman don't like Robin featured in his stories too much but its Batman and Robin done right with a great strained relationship of Batman trying to be a father to a son who was raised knowing nothing but violence but there are moments where he breaks through and will be familiar to any parent with a child going through the 'difficult' stage and its all done with some excellent storytelling by Peter Tomasi who weaves wonderful story arcs together with the aforementioned releasionship of father and son, this is then brought to life with Patrick Gleesons absoulutley astounding artwork that jumps of the page with enetgetic and thoughtful layouts yet he handles the quieter moments with delicacy.The book itself is certainly robust and feels really well made with the dust jacket in a nice matte black with the gloss Batman and Robin and it only gets better on the inside with the outside of the hardcover being original atwork thats not a reprint of a cover from the single issues and all in all this feels like a real collectors item that will look great on any bookcase.Buy it you will not regret this purchase, shame mine is damaged (corners....again) but replacement on the way so hopefully this one is in good condition as takes a lot of price for a collector with damage like this.

Not read any of the novel Yet apart from a few sections from the death of the family joker. As a fan of the new 52 batman I wanted the ones with robin as he is a violent dark character.This binding seem fine as it's glued. The first few pages are a bit stiffer towards the front of the book but the size of the book Is massive and it's heavy. Not the most comfy sit with but good quality and amazing artwork.Well worth a purchase for fans of batman.

Very solid book and one of the most important run on batman.Gleason's arts are very cool .Good price with a great discount .5 stars
