Schaeffler LuK RepSet 04-267 Clutch Kit, OEM Replacement Transmission Clutch Kit, Compatible with Chevrolet Cruze 11-13, Trax 13-15

I had purchased a 2016 Chevy Sonic Transmission to stuff into my 2012 Sonic LTZ Turbo 6 speed. This clutch is exactly the same at the one that came out of the 2012. Luk makes OEM clutches and the original clutch is also labeled the same! NOTE: the slave cylinder that comes with this clutch may not fit the Chevy Cruze, however the clutch will. and it is made out of plastic, although the line its self is made of metal. I kept my metal slave cylinder that came with my 2016 transmission 6 speed because i did not trust the plastic one. AND SECOND NOTE: the clutch alignment tool will not align the clutch 100% because the GM pilot bearing in the crank is much wider. I used some tape to bring the width just up to .725 of an inch and managed to line up the clutch just enough. you may have to turn the crank shaft to get it to spin the transmission spline into place, but a tiny 1.4l engine isn't hard to overcome compression.

After less than a year the slave cylinder aka throw out has started leaking so I have to tear back into my 2014 Cruze again to change that part shoulda went acdelco it is possible that it’s the line going to the cylinder but I put money on it being the cylinder it’s self

Slave cylinder blew out immediately had to disassemble, get a local replacement slave cylinder from the Chevrolet dealer and reassemble and replace fluid. Save your money, time and aggravation and get a genuine part. ended up costing me more in the long run.

I have a 2012 Chevy Cruze, so far during the install the slave cylinder has a different connector so is useless.Unfortunately now this delays getting the car back on the road.The clutch looks the same, hopefully when I get that on there will be no issues. I will update when I install the clutch and pressure plate.Pictures show old and new parts, the one with the yellow cap is the new, the other is the old. OEM is also metal, this one is plastic.Clutch and pressure plate work perfectly.

Does not fit 2013. Waste of $1300...
