Great case for ally z1 extreme
Exactly what I needed for on the go. I couldn’t have picked a better case. It’s easy to install, durable, looks good, and the functionality holds as if the case is not even on. Supreme fit.

VERY VERY GOOD.
I don't dislike a single thing about this. Very sturdy. Love the color. The texture is perfect, gives you GREAT grip. I take my device to work so the screen cover part of the case is amazing to have cause mine is in a bag most days.Easy to put on , fits PERFECTLY. not too bulky and works better than you think lol

A great product with a few flaws
This is a very sturdy cover for the Ally. It's thick and extremely grippy around the handlesthe face cover is adequate and provides good protection for the screen and ports. The kickstand is a great feature and is sturdy as well. The only problems I have with it is a functional aspect of its protection. It no longer fits in my dock but it rest on top of it and seems stable enough with the kickstand out. The hole where the on button is could have been made more flush because the button barely ever registers my thumprint when the cover is on as you can't fully cover the sensor due to the thickness of the cover. The triggers also do not fully depress but you can adjust the range in Armory crate to compensate. These being considered it really is a good looking and strong cover.

Doesn't fit that well and is a disappointment for racing games
TLDR: Suitable for basic protection, but ill-fitting; consider waiting for the Killswitch from DBrand.I purchased this case seeking the same level of protection I enjoyed with a Killswitch on my Steam Deck, aiming to safeguard the device in my bag without the need for a bulky pouch, while also providing adequate protection for the sticks and screen.Pros:The case generally fits snugly around the device, without impeding the functionality of the face buttons. The textured surface enhances the device's grip in hand. The top case offers sufficient hardness to protect the sticks effectively.Cons:The primary drawback of the case lies in its design, specifically its tight fit around the triggers' travel range. With the case installed, the triggers cannot be fully depressed, impacting their range of motion. Although trigger recalibration is possible, it still results in a loss of functionality. The top cover lacks direct reinforcement over the screen but relies on padding between the cover and the screen. While effective, any debris on the padding poses a risk of scratching the screen as the top cover slides back and forth, making scratching a genuine concern. The charging cutout on the top cover is excessively narrow. Users employing a magnetic charging connector, such as those from GTBeans, will find it impossible to charge the device with the top cover on, as the cutout fails to accommodate the charging connector adequately. The case's design choice to match cutouts with the device restricts airflow, leading to increased device temperature. While not a significant concern at 15 watts or lower, at full performance, the elevated temperature poses a risk of failure for the device's SD card reader due to inherent issues with the Ally design. In summary, consider this case only if you prioritize cost over the superior Killswitch from DBrand, don't engage in racing games, and meticulously monitor temperatures to prevent internal overheating.

!!!!READ BEFORE BUYING!!!!
Finding a good case for the ROG ally is near impossible. They either are cut poorly, or are Too thin and don’t offer enough protection. This case actually feels pretty sturdy. It feels like sand paper which some people will or won’t like. It has more coverage than the other open front cases. The cut out next to the b button is nice. However there are three major design flaws. If you have an xg mobile, you will need to make cuts like I did. This actually won’t even fit completely. You will need to still apply a decent amount of pressure to lock the xg mobile into place. The hard front case is definitely not big enough and can’t be cut with an xacto knife like the rubber case.If you use analog stick rubber covers like I do. Do not expect the front cover to fit. It actually depresses the right stick pretty badly before snapping shut on rog ally. The sd card port is too deep. So if you do not have very small fingers and long nails. You will need tweezers, or you will need to peel back the case every time you want to swap out an sd cardEDIT!!!:The customer service is amazing. They have indeed fixed the trigger issue on the case. I would still like to see those three other issues resolved.

So far, no issues and it's a great price!
No downsides so far. Been very happy with this case. I'm using the kickstand more than I figured I would and the case is thick so the Ally fits in your hands better.
