Hyper PetTough Plush Brown Bear Durable Dog Toy with Squeaker

Around 10 months with two large dogs.
My dogs are around 50 and 70 lbs and gnaw those nylabones down to stumps... We got the bear and the zebra almost exactly 10 months ago. Some small details like the ears which were just flaps of fabric, got torn off pretty quickly. They are just starting to show serious damage that may require throwing them away. I consider them a good value as durable dog toys can be $$$$ and don't always last even 10 months. They might not last as long if it's the only toy a dog has, but mine always have at least 2 nylabones out (so they can both chew at the same time) and get a bully stick or two per month- so they have other options if they want to chew hard and may not be as likely to try to rip the stuffed toy apart.

Pretty good - my dog found the weak spot
My dog is an aggressive chewer and loves plush squeaky toys (and loathes rubber/silicone ones) so I have to be mindful that there is no such thing as an indestructible plush toy. With that said, this toy was pretty good! My pup was stumped for about 30 minutes until he realized that the nose is the “weak spot” and tore right into the toy and ripped out the squeaker. Although he’s noseless right now, the rest of him is still intact and my pup is having a heck of a time gnawing on the hard edges of the toy. I would honestly rate 5 stars if the nose was an reinforced as the rest of him. I might give him a nose job so my pup can keep playing with it.

Small dog tore it up in under an hour
“My German Shepherd doesn't chew the bear. She merely catches it and brings it back to me.” That was last year so we thought the products from this company would be great. But when we bought the tiger, zebra, and giraffe we were in for a surprise. Our 8 pound dog destroyed them in under an hour. Total waste of a lot of money. The company sent me a toy to replace the others. It was a ball with a tail. The dogs played with it. The tail was off in 20 minutes. The ball had to be put away because it caused arguments among them. The dogs hated the sounds coming from it. I didn’t get a chance to return the animals to Amazon so didn’t get a refund.

Good for shredders
The only toys that take my 75 pound German shepherd over a month to shred. I usually buy no stuffing toys that can last anywhere from a few minutes to a week with no tears if he feels like it. I came across these toys originally at tj maxx and ordered more online.. these toys last a month to two month's. I have a shredder on my hands so this toy will maybe last a lifetime if you don't have a dog that well shred the unshreddable. Will be buying more soon. He loves these.

Lasted 2 days with a tough chewer - 75lbs I call that a success!
I've got a tough chewer and lately she's really wanted something to hit her back and side teeth so I got her this soft toy instead of a hard bone. Pleasantly Surprised! Normally soft toys last 5 minutes in this house! 10 at best! This managed to last for 2 days! So thankful the eyes weren't the button ones so she couldn't swallow them. Squeaker was hard for me to find but she found it quickly, guess it just needed a bit more force applied to work. She really liked the ears for her back and side teeth. The feet and tail have more filling so I sort of had to demonstrate to her that they would work just as well to get the job done!

Disappointed!!! Barely squeaks
Disappointed!!!!! I could barely get this thing to squeak! My great dane got one LITTLE squeak!!! I would not buy again. My girl destroys these toys if they don't squeak. Off to find a better squeak toy for my girl!!! Lamby it is for us! She dropped this toy after getting only one squeak, and went to her old standby, Lamby. Squeakers in each foot, and the belly!!!

NOT for giant breed puppies!
Within one hour the Tiger was decapitated. This most definitely is not a stuffed toy for a giant breed puppy. Within one hour my six- month old giant breed puppy tore the head off and swallowed it. Now, we are going to be on emergency alert for possible intestinal blockage of the bowel which would require emergency surgery to save the puppies life.

Durable
My mini Aussie is a power chewer, and this toy has held up for 4 weeks now and no holes. She hasn’t even found a string to pull loose which is also one of her things.I will definitely buy another one of these

Not that tough
I bought this for my dog and he took the head off it before the delivery guy had left the street the problem is that it is not one piece of material the head is sewed to the body making it a weak spot and dangerous as he pulled out the stuffing and plastic squeaker luckily my husband managed to get it off him before he swallowed any of it, all his other tough soft toys have no pieces sewed on and are still going strong so got a refund from amazon.

Didn’t work for me - could be improved
I have a very heavy chewer, she is very good at finding the weak spot on a toy and destroying it. I think this toy would have been fantastic if the head was as reinforced as the body. The head is just like a normal stuff toy, once my dog realized that it was game over. Not worth it for the price unfortunately.
