I have read some reviews that suggest the pessary leaves an oily mess in the morning is this correct?

There is some discharge, but just wear old pants and/or a pad if you're worried. I found at first, my body needed all the moisture it could get. Then, as I began to 'heal', my body got rid of what I didn't need. The pelvic floor benefits from the extra moisture. Stay with it - lovely product.

Any tips on how to actually open to get to the pressary

Yes there is a winged flap at the top of each pessary but as I don't have a strong grip grabbing both ears with a tissue makes it easy to pull apart.

Does this have hrt in it

The pessaries are ideal for symptoms of pre and post menopause, i.e. vaginal dryness. They are free from hormones, parabens & irritants. Are the pessaries suitable for vegans?

I would say potentially no, because hyaluronic acid and semi synthetic glicerides can be derived from plants or animals and it doesn’t specify which. However it does say suitable for vegetarians on the label. The only other ingredient is almond oil.
