SuperStroke Traxion Wrap Golf Club Grip, Advanced Surface Texture that Improves Feedback and Tackiness, Providing Durability and Comfortability

I like these grips a lot. I've always been a fan of wrap-style grips and have used them all over the years... The golf pride, the winns, etc. These feel a bit different from the others. They're made in two separate layers, which gives them a softer feel, and a bit more give between the wrap type layer and the inner layer. They're very grippy and sticky when they're fresh. I've played 2 rounds so far, and I like them. They seem to perform fairly well even when my hands are sweaty. I also like the price... They're less expensive than other premium grips. The one complaint I have so far is installation. Because the inner layer is fairly rigid it can be difficult to put these on with solvent alone. I ended up switching to using a compressor to put these on, with a little bit of solvent in the grip to soften it up. The first couple of attempts I had with just solvent, which is how I've always done grips, got stuck about halfway down... So beware... Probably just use air to do it.

This grip is perfect for the driver! Its thick enough but not too thick! Tons of grip and won't slip out of your hand!

I love these grips - I recently started regripping my own clubs, so this was a great deal for soft, clean looking grips. Soft also means they wear faster than the standard grip - I played maybe 6-7 rounds with them and the driver grip is starting to wear in spots that experience the most pressure/friction. But they’re relatively cheap so I don’t mind replacing them!

I normally use Golf Pride grips but I may bought this grip because it doesn’t have a big logo. If your driver has adjustable loft the grip logo moves every time you adjust the loft and that bugs me. It isn’t an issue with this grip. It does provide a good cushion and I’m sure it’ll serve the purpose. Now the negatives: it is only available in one color and it’s not a color I would have chosen. Basic black would have been better IMO. Also, as others have mentioned, it’s a very tight fit. I’ve regripped many clubs and this one is tight! Ample solvent and a regripping tool make it do-able but I can understand why others have had problems. Finally, it is oddly shaped. It has much less taper than either Golf Pride or Lamkin oversized grips, being smaller in diameter at the butt than its competition and larger in diameter at the shaft. It’s still a decent grip and worthy of 4 stars. I might have given it 5 if it had More color options.

0 stars. These grips are garbage. While installing them on the club the grips literally split open between the "wrap" sections of the grip. Cannot return them due to the fact that they are now soaked in the solvent that's used to slide them on the club. Should of known better than to go cheap. Not even worth 1 star but I had to rate them to submit this review.

Great grips these are so much better than the usual grips people get

I was hesitant on purchasing these grips because of the images of the grip blown out from install. I can say that these grips went on super easy without any issue. I would say that those people that had the issue either got a defective grip or they didn't know what they were doing...most likely the latter. The rubber in this grip is going to be thinner than other grips due to the wrap. So, just be careful and use plenty of solvent, no different than any other grip. I cannot speak to its longevity unfortunately.

Installation of these grips is very difficult. They are extremely tight. I tried the wedge guys and golfworks tape with little difference. First grip I managed to get on with a full piece of tape, just barely. The second got stuck half way on and somehow I managed to save it with out having to cut it off. I ended up using a skinny 3/8" strip of tape and spiralling it on the shaft to get the grips on. Even doing that it still takes a lot of effort to get them on. Once installed I have only play one round of golf with them. They feel similar to the winn dri-tac in tackiness and just slightly firmer. They look great on the clubs too. Time will tell how long they will last. Only 3 stars given. Once on the clubs they are great. But the installation is a pain in the you know what.

I've installed all kinds of grips before and these are by far the most difficult grips I've ever installed. The hole to slide over the club shaft is too small. I had to use so much force to slide the grip over the shaft that my entire workbench shifted. I installed two of these grips, and the second one kinked because I was putting so much force on it to get it onto the club. I will NEVER use these grips again.

Good grip. Slightly harder to put on than non wrap types but looks and feels great
