I am 5’3 190 lbs and I bought the X-Large. The day I put it on I was on the last row of tightest adjustment. It was very easy to put on and comfortable to wear at work. I wear mine 8 hrs a day. But after almost a full year I am buying a large because this one is a bit loose. it’s hidden under clothes although you need a bra that will hold in the hangover on the top. All in all I highly recommend this waist cintcher for keeping your posture good at the office and it will keep you from over eating.

I sized down 1 size according to the chart. I think if you have a curvy/hourglass shape, you'll need to go down 2 sizes. It took a few minutes to close the first time, but immediately felt a little looser than I would like. So far, it's sturdy.
