The best leather laces
I have a pair of PNW work boots from Nick's. These laces are by far the best I've ever had. They are better than what shipped with the boots and the laces I have bought from other sources. The leather is consistently excellent quality with good strength and stretch. After a month of use that show few signs of wear and are holding their shape well.

Worked great on my Sperry Top Siders
But they came with no needle to feed it through, so I had to improvise. EDIT: After only 9 months one side already snapped off at the last eyelet out. The originals took YEARS!

They are exactly what they claim to be. Long leather shoe laces. They work as intended.

Long & strong, but not the "tan" color shown
These are nice, thick & strong bootlaces -- softer, thicker and easier to work with than other leather laces I've used. My only beef with them is that I was expecting the "tan" color (as shown in the listing) however these are more of a Medium Brown. Not a deal breaker, but it cost 'em a star. Sorry about that, but you ought to provide an accurate listing. Strong laces though...

Reasonable replacement
Worked great for me. Broke a leather shoe string on my Sperry topsider and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I cut out the old string and laced it like a regular shoe

Not recomended for hard or heavy use.
Not for rugged use. Ordered these as back ups in my pack in case i had a blow out. Had a pair of Nick's laces in the boots for about 6-8 months which is about common for most "good" laces for me. As wildland firefighting is pretty tough on boots and laces so is hiking and all sorts of outdoor stuff. Had a blow out with the Nick's laces tied it up and finished my day no biggie. End of day swapped out laces. The first lace busted after 3 days of wear and the second was at day 7!! That all being said they do feel nice, the are soft. Seem a bit inconsistent in thickness but sometimes can be common with leather laces. They did seem to stretch out a bit within the second days use, again sometime normal with new leather laces. Probably good for light wear and dress boots or shoes but don't rely on them for the long haul.

Wouldn't buy again
Didn't receive the correct colour, I ordered black but received brown and the brown had this gross pistachio green core, they look horrific
