I previously wrote that my Echo Dot power supplies USB port exited on the bottom, which meant I had to install my Dot upside down for a UK plug but...... ta daaaa....... the Echo Dot power supply pins are removable from the main unit. Who knew? They came already attached and as soon as I twisted the power supply relative to the pins, the pins came off and allowed me to install them the other way up.So, in contrast to my original review, I now think this is a brilliant design but perhaps the instructions should mention how the Echo Dot power supply can be rotated to suit.

It does exactly what it says, I bought one for my Dot in the Kitchen so I could plug it into a wall socket and keep it off the work surface. Two things to point out. 1 - it sticks out quite a bit from the socket - about 4cm and then the depth of the dot itself in top, but don't forget you need to clear the switches. 2 - the Echo dot (for a British plug) ends up being upside down - this is not really noticeable except the mute button for the Microphone is on the right and the wrong way up. However, you will forget about that as I hardly if ever use the buttons. Alexa hears you just fine and there seems to be no issue with the sound produced. Please ensure you have the right gen Dot for the mount though. I think you can also buy some wall mount brackets if you didn't want to use this - but this is a neat all in one solution.

When i recieved the holder it appeared the plug would not fit,as reported in some reviews. However it is a push (tight) fit. When a plug is forced in, it flexes and holds the plug in tightly. The dot fits in securely and I am very happy with my purchase.

Fitted our Echo Dot 2nd gen perfectly, a neat and well built solution to having a trailing Echo Dot. So good it looks like an original accessory!The adapter fitted snugly and the Dot clicks in securely, although for UK plug the Echo Dot ends up upside down, which isn't a problem for the device. You could fix that by using a slightly longer cable but the connection would be at the top and wouldn't look as neat.

Great product. My Echo Dot and PSU fitted perfectly. Alexa can now hear us much better as the Dot was on a window sill before and it had problems hearing when the curtains were shut.It's a superb idea and probably worth 5 stars, but I can't help but feel that I have been seriously overcharged for a small piece of moulded plastic and a short USB lead. OK, I know that some serious design effort went into this, but they must be churning these out for pennies each by now.

Great way of getting Alexa off the work surface in the kitchen. Easy to fit - and it even comes with its own small cable so that there are no trailing cables. (Still have to use the existing plug!) An excellent way of saving space!!

I like the idea of this as a nice tidy way of using Dot in different places? I asked the difference between pre and post November Dots but never got an answer so ordered one on spec. I assume the difference is in the plug that is supplied with the Dot as mine didn’t fit. Going back for a refund and I’ll wait for the new version apparently in Feb.

This works great to hold the echo dot onto a plug socket, making this great for the kitchen. I've been using it for months now and no real problems. Does have one or two rough edges, hence the 4*

Das Produkt hält, was es verspricht. Der Klang bleibt unverändert. Das Produkt umschließt den Echo Dot perfekt und sorgt für sicheren Halt. Die Verbindung zwischen Echo Dot und Netzstecker fällt kaum auf. Die bisherigen Varianten haben mir nicht zugesagt, daher bin ich umso glücklicher dieses Produkt gefunden zu haben.

Diese Halterung ist toll. Passt wie angegossen, kein Kabelsalat und keine Angst mehr, dass der Dot runterfällt. Ich benutze die Vorrichtung im Bad, wo man sowieso immer viel zu wenig Stellplatz hat und die Gefahr besteht, dass der Dot nass wird. Die Halterung passt sogar in eine kombinierte Steckdose mit Lichtschaltern, die Lichtschalter können ganz normal und ohne Einschränkung weiter bedient werden.Was mich stört - was den 5 Sternen aber keinen Abbruch tut - der Originalpreis beträgt knapp EUR 18,00. Zum Bestellzeitpunkt war das Teil im Angebot für um die 13,00 EUR. Der Materialwert beträgt aber lediglich ein paar Cent. Es ist ein einfaches, dünnes Plastikstanzteil mit dem kurzen Kabel dabei. Eigentlich vollkommen überbezahlt. Aber die Idee zählt und vor allem, dass es kompromisslos passt!

Habe diese Halterung für mein Echo dot gekauft, weil mich das Kabel etwas nervt, außerdem möchte ich gerne den Echo ohne die ganzen Kabel von einem in den anderen Raum nehmen, der Zusammenbau ist ganz einfach, das Kabel von Echo dot abmachen, den Echo in die Halterung klicken und das kurze Kabel welches im Lieferumfang enthalten ist verbinden und schon ist es fertig! ACHTUNG es gibt die Halterung für die 1. Generation, schwarzer Stecker und für die 2 Generation, schwarz-weiß er Stecker...die Idee ist echt simpel, aber Top

Die Halterung hält, was ich mir davon versprochen habe. Vorher lag der Dot 2 in der Küche auf der Arbeitsfläche und das eigentlich zu lange Anschlusskabel immer störend herum. Jetzt ist der Dot 2 in der kompakten Halterung „verschwunden“ und das sehr kurze Anschlusskabel stört überhaupt nicht. Die Halterung macht einen wertigen Eindruck und sitzt auch mit dem Dot 2 fest in der Steckdose.

Ich war etwas enttäuscht, im Amazon-Karton verpackt befand sich eine kleine weiße Box - keine Beschriftung - nur am Boden ein paar Worte.Da war der Amazon-Versandkarton deutlich liebevoller gestaltet.In der Box war nur das "Gehäuse" und ein kurzes Kabel, das wars. Keine Anleitung, kein "Beipackzettel" - nichts.Klar, die Installation erfordert nicht unbedingt den abgeschlossenen Doktortitel, schön wirkt es beim Auspacken aber nicht.Die Qualität des Produktes ist zweck erfüllend, wirkt sehr dünn und billig.Ich würde es nicht erneut kaufen, da gibt es bessere Alternativen!

Keine Frage, dass Teil passt sehr gut. Und den Aufdruck Made in Germany mag man auch sofort glauben, wenn man es in den Händen hält. Es wirkt trotz simplem Plastik deutlich wertiger als der übliche Billigstmist aus China.Aber mehr als 17€ sind schon sehr frech für das was man geboten bekommt. Mit 5€ wäre der Artikel schon gut bezahlt gewesen.Ja, ich habe vorher gewusst was es kostet. Aber bei dem Preis hätte ich doch noch etwas anderes erwartet. Die 4 Sterne gebe ich für Passform und Qualität. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis wäre mit 2 Sternen schon gut bewertet.

Klasse Teil, auch fernab der Idee es einfach in die Steckdose zu knallen. Umgerüstet und integriert in Deckenlampe, lässt sich so Die Alexa Sprachsteuerung auch im Windfang ohne Steckdose realisieren und sieht zudem klasse aus. klare kaufenpfehlung, auch für Leute die Produkte suchen die sich fern der „Stange“ einsetzen lassen!

Wir wollten für "Dotti" in der Küche keinen Kabelsalat haben - die Halterung ist perfekt. Sie ist fest und doch flexibel genug, wenn "Dotti" in eine andere Steckdose umzeihen muss. Würde ich wieder kaufen. Ach ja, die Lieferung war sehr, sehr schnell - Danke.

Ein MUSS für den Dot von Alexa, hängt nun direkt am Strom hinter meiner Box auf 30 cm Höhe vom Boden kann den dot dadurch NICHT schlechter steuern geht alles genauso gut wie vorher. Gute Ergänzung. kaufempfehlung!!!

Ich hasse herumhängende Kabel! Die Halterung ist die perfekte Lösung gewesen! Der dot sitzt fest und sicher! Das Material ist wertig und gut verarbeitet! Eine super Lösung für alle „Kabelhasser“

Ich wollte den Fit nicht mit Kabel auf dem Tisch liegen haben. Da kam diese Halterung genau recht. Das Netzteil und die Kabelage verschwinden fast vollständig und der Dir hängt in der Steckdose. Für mich eine Ideallösung.

Lieferung kam an nächsten Tag ! Produkt sieht aus wie beschrieben inkl. kurzem Kabel (ohne Netzstecker, hier soll der originale verwendet werden !) ich werde es später zusammenstecken und testen. Erster Eindruck, sehr gut 😊

Einfach toll. Alexa passt perfekt rein. Das kleine Kabel dabei ist super. Und endlich hat sich das "Problem" mit dem Kabel was rum liegt erledigt. Alexa versteht uns super gut und hält sehr gut in der Halterung. Sind mehr als zufrieden.

Also wenn man den Text richtig liest und man den richtigen Stecker amEcho Dot hat, funktioniert der Zusammenbau super einfach, nochmitgeliefertes Kabel einstecken und fertig. Super kompakt, keinelästigen Kabel mehr, gute Qualität zum fairen Preis.--- Na also, geht doch ;-) ---
