Excellent trash can for kitchen. We have been using this trash can for more than a year and find it to be excellent in appearance and durability. Foot pedal to open. Our dogs and toddlers cannot get into it, so that's a major bonus for us! We were keeping a 5 lb weight on top of our old trash can to keep dogs and toddlers out of it. We use this trash can as a dual purpose receptacle: 2 kitchen sized bags (1 for household trash, 1 for recycling). Or you could use it for one big bag. It's heavy duty. Stands up to heavy use. Super easy bag change. Wish we had found it sooner. No downsides. Highly recommend!

After five months use. Fantastic !!! It holds alot of trash. The lift petal works grate. It has a great design for holding bags. If you grab two ears of the bag and roll them up and hook over the rear edge and do the same on front edge. Close the lid and the bag stays. Have not had a bag come loose yet. Construction is very sturdy. Easy to clean. Our dog and cats can’t get into it.

Everything about it seems good but the price. I think it's ridiculous on how much it cost after I knew it looked good but not heavy and dependable for life. Wouldn't recommend if price is high, though. But keeping it for now

Cannot tell you how much I love this bin. I’ve been through so many and this one is simple and durable.

I bought this trashcan because it was on sale so the price was great, but also because of the ability to have two separate bags in it – one for trash, one for recycling. I was skeptical that it was actually going to be functional, but decided to roll the dice, and I’m very glad I did. It’s very easy to attach the two bags they stay in place very secure, and what you get used to putting trash in one corner or putting recycle in the other. It’s a pretty easy thing to do and kind of an amazing concept. The one conduit is that as , the bags get full getting one out without the other is very difficult to do. It almost always spills some things out of the bag. but for space saving and efficiency it’s a no-brainer it’s great. And having the flexibility to just use one big bag is perfect. I would say at this point half the time I used two bags and half the time I use just one big bag based on , what the needs are going to be that week so I definitely can recommend this, especially if getting it out of good sale price .

I purchased this Rubbermaid 19-Gallon Dual Compartment Trash Can, and while it looks great, I am extremely disappointed with the build quality regarding its most fragile part: the lid hinge. After a short period of use, the small plastic hinge on the top lid snapped. This is clearly a design flaw—a tiny, high-stress component that should have been reinforced is made of weak material. Despite claims of a 3-year warranty, there is absolutely no support available. I have searched everywhere for a replacement lid, but they are not sold separately. It is unacceptable that a consumer is forced to buy an entire new trash bin just because one tiny plastic part failed. The lack of customer service and spare parts availability is frustrating. If you are considering this bin, keep in mind that if the lid hinge breaks, you are essentially out of luck. Definitely not the durability I expected from Rubbermaid.

Hola llegó bien , grande pero para poder separar bolsas quisñzas esté bien, el manual de intalación no especifica se venía con un accesorio de separador de bolsas, si es así nunca vino con el , pero se puede separar como viene en las fotos, por eso pongo 4 💫
