Coffee great. Pods not great!
I have tried many pods over the years ranging from plain awful to very good. Caffe Borbone coffee is a level way above very good. It is truly excellent. I have only tried the Blue and Black blends, both are great. The flavour is the best I've had. Is there a downside? Yes...For some reason the flow from the Nespresso compatible pods isn't great. Very often the coffee splatters and comes out very slowly. Sometimes the coffee hardly comes out at all. When it works it's great but it amazes me how a company can shoot themselves in the foot by going to all the hard work of producing great coffee only to get the easy part so wrong. Come on, please improve the quality of the pods. I've seen other reviewers mention this so it's nothing new but it seems like the company aren't concerned which is a shame. It's still, for me, the best coffee out there though. It's worth trying but don't be surprised by the pods. Sometimes they work fine so maybe you'll get a lucky batch!

Plastic capsules, non piercing valve design
Delicious coffee, amazing rich flavour for the price.Capsules are plastic and design is such that machines won’t pierce the top, instead they have a small valve in the top, through which hot water passes under pressure, so you need good water pressure in your machine, and if you haven’t already, descale the machine to maintain pressure. As the capsule has a valve they need to be sealed in a bag to keep the coffee fresh, which is why they are packaged differently to aluminium capsules.Capsules work fine in my machine, albeit the flow is slow. The price point is the same as the Aldi capsules I buy, but the coffee is so much nicer.

Good coffee, too much plastic
Didn't like these at first, but they grow on you and smell great. The individual wrapped pods is so wasteful which will put me off buying again.

Delicious
I really like this coffee. Better than what you can get in many bars

Not compatible with Nespresso machine
We ordered Red blend, creamy espresso with deliciously persistent flavor - as we enjoy creamy and smooth Arabica coffee blends. This one is a bit more strong than other coffee brands (Illy or Caffè Vergnano 1882 Èspresso) and has a more smoky taste to it. But the most disappointing part is that the capsules are practically useless in Nespresso machine. The capsules are plastic, Nespresso machine has difficulty to process hot pressured water through them, and it might eventually damage your machine. I would not rebuy.

Nespresso 'compatible', but isn't
We recently tried Caffè Borbone capsules in Italy in the AirBnB we stayed in. It was a Lavazza machine though, and worked beautifully. We thought we'd try them at home with our Nespresso machine. Don't bother! These capsules are small compared to other Nespresso compatible capsules. It means you get lots of wasted coffee leaking into the pod collection area as a sufficient seal can't be made to force the coffee through to the cup. As a result of both lost coffee and the lack of pressure, any coffee you do get takes an age to get pumped through. The whole effort is just a woeful experience. When you eventually get your coffee though, the flavour IS great, but the time it takes and the wasted coffee just isn't worth it. I'm going back to my usual strength 12 L'Or capsules!Make the capsules the right size Caffè Borbone, and I'll be back like a shot. Good value for money (if they worked!)

Great coffee, great price
Amazing quality of coffee. Always very fresh, smells and tastes great! Coming in a box with 100pcs it’s also super convenient. Way better than any coffee pods in supermarkets too- better price in better quality. Highly recommended

Very good coffee quality: the best I could get. Shipping always on time.
At the time of my relocation from Naples (Italy) to UK, I was very concerned about the choice of the coffee. In the past, I always used the Moka, but I found difficult to find good quality coffee powder in UK. I found instead that Nespresso-compatible capsules were available on Amazon UK, and I did not think twice to buy them. The quality of coffee is very high. I cannot say that the espresso from these capsules is comparable with that bought in the good bar of Naples, but it is the best I could get among all the available options. Each capsule comes in a pressurised aluminium envelope that, upon aperture, release a very nice smell of coffee. The coffee prepared through the Borbone capsule is also creamy, as expected by a Neapolitan espresso. The taste of the coffee is strong but is not as intense as the coffee prepared through the Moka machine. I personally prefer these capsules to the Nespresso ones (less strong, less creamy and more expensive than the Borbone), and to the Lory (less strong, less creamy than the Borbone). I have not tried other brands of coffee pods. The shipping arrives always on time, but I would like a subscription system as available on Amazon.it. As a final remark, I bought several boxes of 100 capsules, and I found that only 3-4 capsules were not working perfectly in my Nespresso Machine (the machine kept stopping the coffee flow, due to the capsule).
