Unusable!
Some of the buttons (eg volume control) did not work with our TV, although the remote claimed to be compatible with it. Each time I press a button I have to wait at least 6 seconds before it reacts. So using, for example, search on i-player takes forever, with a 6 second gap between pressing each letter of the search. We are about to give up and buy a new one.

Works straight out of the box
After the previous remote had long suffered an autistic child, it was subjected to a teething puppy. It then gave up the will to live.I ordered this replacement thinking there might have to be a 'set up' and I'm a bit of a technophobe. I put the batteries in and it worked straight away - I was delighted! Didn't have to worry about connecting to the TV or anything.Excellent in every way. Beyond easy 😀
