Heavy, but balanced I wasn’t expecting much with the price of the pen. There was so many good reviews on it, of course a few of the I hate it, probably those who have never written with a fountain pen, more than likely a calligraphy pen. Trust me when I say there is a world of difference in the two. It is super smooth, ink never stops flowing I am still yet to have a skip in my writing, even when signing my name. I would recommend this pen to anyone who first has experience with a real fountain WRITING pen. You can get other nibs if you need a smaller or larger size. writes smoothly, ink is consistent, pretty heavy weight with metal construction. compared to many others this is a good pen for 17 bucks, but the nib writes like a medium instead of fine.

No instructions, unfathomable ink cartridges that either did not puncture properly and/or leaked, cap doesn't accommodate pen nib. Nib produced substandard writing. Since I ride a bicycle, I would have a 40-mile round trip to return to local store, so I've eaten the expense of both the pen and a box of ink cartridges.
