Hestan - CopperBond Collection - Copper Saucier Pan with Lid, Induction Cooktop Compatible, 2-Quart

This is an excellent saucier. Good size, good weight, shorter handle than most making it easier to avoid on the stove and it looks really good.Had a bit of trouble getting it, first one got lost, second one arrived at the local Amazon processing facility with damaged packaging and was sent back and the third time is the charm. With the help of a courteous and kind customer service person we were able to secure a second replacement which arrived promptly and unscathed. Success 🎉

This pan exceeded all my expectations and it looks beautiful in the kitchen. The price was incredible. It is sold at kitchen stored for $340. AWSOME PURCHASE. Hestan is an amazing brand.

Fit and finish is nice, so 2 stars there. I bought the 2-qt copper bond saucier. Lid is well engineered, handle stays cool, induction works great. I’m comparing this to my copper standard, which is Falk Culinair. However, this saucier was listed at 2.2kg. That’s a lot of metal for the price, and in my experience, the heavier the pan is, the better it performs on the stove. Unfortunately when I received it, it barely weighed in at half that: 1.1kg. Even including the lid, it’s nowhere near 2.2. I’m returning this and replacing it with a Falk Copper Coeur saucier, which is also induction compatible, heavier, and cheaper.
