Use only on copper wires and check the sizes before you start. Wear glasses!!
I use this set of cutters for fine wire work in electronics for model railways. It is larger than I really would like but has beautifully sharp solid cutting jaws which strip insulation perfectly. It is vital you avoid any wires that are not copper otherwise the cutter will be ruined. Also take care to use the correct size of cutting slot for your wire. I frequently use 0.6mm or less wires for decoder work which demands precise soldering and cutting where you need to be confident about getting every cut just right. I always wear my glasses so I can clearly read the markings on the jaws. I have yet to find a superior product.

Works for what I use it for..
I bought this to help strip wiring for guitar electronics. Does the job, currently. Not getting used everyday so can't currently comment on how durable it is. Seems sturdy enough for the price.

Since 2 pairs of my old wire strippers only work down to 22 gauge STRANDED copper wire, I was hoping these would work on 24 gauge SOLID copper wire without having to fiddle with them and without damaging the core and they do. Quality seems OK, not very heavy duty but for a homeowner and the price paid, they are just fine. Didn't want to spend $25-40 on a name brand pair that I use once every few years............
