Ramones - End Of The Century [DVD]

What a band ,.lovr this

I knew nothing about the Ramones before watching this documentary and only knew a couple of their songs so I was a little wary about purchasing it. But I'm genuinely glad I did. It's a highly entertaining and informative piece of film-making giving us a warts and all look at a band that influenced a generation of musicians but never really scaled the heights themselves. I'm not a fan of their music personally but this didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. Seeing how they almost single handedly created a new "cool" style and approach to music was absolutely fascinating and I thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys the history of popular music.

I always see the t-shirts everywhere but had never heard them so this dvd showed me what I was missing a real story with no fantasys it showed them for what they were a great hard working band.

Been a fan of The Ramones since the 70's This is a must own dvd for anyone in my age group or even for some youngster who thinks it's cool to wear The Ramones t shirt Buy this and see what the fuss was all about Such an under -rated band

A great document of a tragic band. It is incredibly sad that all four members of the Ramones are gone. They deserved far more recognition than they received.

Documentary about The Ramones. More than anything, this is the story of Dee Dee Ramone and his battle with heroin addiction. Very sad at times

Interesting as a Ramones devotee of the era but not a great watch.
