Love Estwing gear, this hammer is a really good quality leather handle that feels nice and is quite slippery when new but breaks in really quickly, lifetime guarantee you only buy Estwing once and it lasts forever, my oldest axe being 30 years old, My reason for buying this type of gear is when I snuff it, and my kids are selling all my tools they will make more money from all my Estwing gear and Bosch power tools to keep them happy because god knows none of my boys knows how to use any of it. 🤣

What can I say it's a hammer. i decided to treat myself to a good hammer as i ve always wanted one (being a carpenter) but couldnt afford the cost untill now. Estwing hammer are top of the range and very good to handle. I got the 16oz as this is generally a good weight for most types of work. I will defo get a bigger one for framing. As these hammers are top of the range the first one I recieved was not of the quality expected from Estwing. The leather hammer was all dented and marked. I requested an second hammer as a replacement, thankfully there was no other product issues. This should now last me a life time and get plenty of use. This is a good present for a family or friend who is in the trade.
