I'm really pleased with my new gymproluxe set..... it's great value for what you get. I've used it several times already instead of battling with the traffic and weather on the way to the gym and instead of going for a run in the dark and cold. There are about 8 back/shoulder/arm exercises I love using it for but the app reminds you of so many more. I've not scratched the surface really with what you can do. Bonus that you can store it all in compact box out the way and it hardly weighs anything in comparison to the other equipment you can buy. If you're wondering whether it'll work your muscles hard enough, it really does - it's exactly the same as resistance machines or free weights . It's so versatile. Quality and quantity of exercises. A decent bit of kit!!!!

If like me you’ve seen a lot of ads online promoting this, then I’d understand why you’re sceptical. I definitely was. However, it really does seem to be as good as people say it is. While it can’t replace a gym, it’s legions better than any other at home workout solution I’ve used it. You can do a load of the important exercises and it really does feel nice to use. It’s all very solid and well made and packs away very neatly - unlike a lot of other options.If you’re looking for a way to stay active but can’t find the time to fit in a trip to and from the gym every day, I think this is a great option

I've only had this for one week so can't comment on longevity but I can review the product as isFirstly I believe you'd be better off with the all in one set rather than the band + bar. You're quite limited with what you can do with just the band and bar but the HIIT bands are essentially tube style resistance bands that you can get elsewhere so it opens up a whole world of exercises. They are good quality too, and I can stand on them bare foot with hurting my feet like what happens with other tube bands.I'm experienced enough with tube bands to know exactly what exercises to do. I don't feel like Gymproluxe helps you figure out a routine or what exercises you can do that much so you'll have to research that yourself.The bar is fantastic quality. I wish I had one ages ago because it's a game changer for training with resistance bands. Very sturdy and comfortable to grip.Downside is like another reviewer said is that 90kg here will not feel like 90kg in weights. With resistance bands, the stated resistance is at max stretch of the band where as weights is a consistent weight. So dont expect doing 90kg bench press with this kit to translate over to a 90kg at a gym. This also leads me to believe any serious trainer will outgrow this kit.Luckily I have some loop resistance bands so that I can hook around the bar to use in conjunction with this kit so I can keep making progress. Not ideal though with the biggest selling point of this being the bench press and rows.I'd recommend Gymproluxe to someone without any workout equipment as it has a variety of resistance bands and the bar which unlocks a whole host of exercises. However I'm not sure this is a big upgrade over buying another set of resistance bands off here. If you already own them then just buy a bar and you're all set.

Had product for 3 months, use it 4-5 days a week. It’s a great idea but during one of my sessions the green band snapped off rubber end while doing arm curls with bar. It just missed my face. I expect this from a cheap product or from constant use after a year or so. After contacting customer care they said they can send me a free replacement but I pay the postage. Not happy with that as it’s their product that’s at fault here, I know it’s cheap but that’s not the point. If I misused the product I can understand but this was basic use. They should have sent me a free band and they should pay postage for this. Terrible experience and would not recommend this product because of the customer experience alone.

Arrived within a few of days of ordering. Very good product and well designed. Been using the app workouts to train most days but going to settle on doing push, pull and legs routines which are really good working them twice a week. Sturdier and stronger than I thought it was going to be and much better than resistance bands training that I have done previously. Great value as I have seen other variable resistance products a lot more expensive than this so I feel I have value for money. Thanks Gym Proluxe from a happy customer!

Great idea, good exercise - however, I have now had two bands snap on this product - Amazon are helpful in returning item

Every component feels sturdy and well manufactured. Ease of use is great, it takes seconds to change resistance, assemble the bar, spacious bag etc.At just over 6 ft 2 I am pushing it with the range of motion this kit is designed for though, more noticeable when training the back. So something to consider depending on your height. Handles are comfortable too.
