More powerful than you expect
I bought this to play Nerf with my nephew. Far too powerful. Good build quality, cost, and accuracy. Good for target practice, but do your ornaments a favour and only do so I'm the garden. Tin cans wpuld be a good target for this, not even sure you'd need to empty them

Lightening fast and covers a good distance
This is brilliant fun for target practice, whether it be old can, apples etc. We used a kids paintstick to mark the end of the darts and fired them at a paper target on the fence. It's easy to load and comes with small and large darts that are easy to load. It only fires one dart at a time so you need to reset the gun each time. There's also a lock mechanism to prevent the dart from accidentally being fired as well that's useful when loading, handing it to someone else etc. And the shoulder end can be extended as well to suit different arm lengths/comfort etc.

Low power and poor range
Looks great but is really low powered, the darts were lucky to have 1/4 of the stated range. Avoid this and go for a better model instead. Happy hunting!

Superb 👌🏻
My husband and kids are obsessed with toy guns. They have all kinds and this is amongst the most powerful we’ve ever had and we have Nerf Rival guns. This is definitely the most powerful dart style gun we’ve had. The smaller darts seem to go faster than the longer ones but not by much.It is quick and easy to change the magazines. Be careful not to pack the magazines too tight as this tended to cause jams for us. Thankfully the release was able to fix most of the jams.Once we stopped overfilling the mags we didn’t have any issues. So much fun and such a satisfying cocking noise.

Awesome, especially at this price!
Really impressed with this blaster, especially when comparing to other big brands.Finish is in my opinion much nicer, attention to detail, good graphics etc. feels more premium.Speed and power is incredible at this price point, means that it creates an accurate shot, although can hurt a little being on the receiving end!

It's alright
The blaster is pretty good, highly ergonomic, customizable and light, but has a few issues I dislike, mainly about performance. It's really an underperformer for me, the fps of each shot is not consistent at all, cylinder doesn't seem to be lubricated and doesn't shoot harder than my literal stock pistols. Also, the o-ring slips out from the feeder during jams, which is really annoying. I don't know if it's something with only my model, but it's definitely not as good as I was expecting.

Poorly made. Don't buy!
The toy jammed within 2 shots of using the smaller darts. The dart managed to become loaded into the chamber sideways and when fired became lodged half-way up the barrel. This may be because the magazine does not fit snugly into the chamber, causing misallignment and jamming. If this happens it is extremely difficult to unjam it. Simply cocking the toy and pulling the trigger will not unjam it. At times, the cocking lever even became stuck and I thought we would never get the thing to move again.I needed to get a long piece of wire and thread this through the chamber in an attenpt to push the dart out of the barrel. This in itself proved difficult and frustrating. All together my son played with it for about 3 minutes before it jammed. It took me around 35-40 minutes to unjam it. If I didn't have the wire at home I don't know how I would have unjammed it. All of this on Christmas day too!We won't be using the smaller darts again as the risk of jamming is too high and if the toy jams again I will be returning it. You don't expect brand new toys to perform in this way. We've bought Nerf toys in the past and never experienced such a severe problem, especially within the first few minutes of use.My advice would be not to buy X-SHOT toys, but instead buy Nerf. You have been warned!

Be sure to check which version you receive.
I bought one of these blasters, from the first batches available in the UK, off the shelf from a well known Toy Superstore. They were later removed from sale and replaced with a low powered version which is more child friendly for the U.K market. I'm unsure which version Amazon are currently shipping so be sure to check the box for the rated range and age. This blaster only has one real downside, the plunger tube is exposed and is susceptible to cracking. At £35 and under, it really is a great blaster with full functionality and great power off-the-shelf. It comes with a scar barrel, adjustable stock and full length faux picatinny rail for optics. The prime is very light for a blaster that hits this hard and it is compatible with full length and half length darts.I suspect those with jamming issues have received the low power version and the darts are struggling to clear the exceptionally long barrel. There's also a high possibility that these blasters are being given to children who are managing to double load darts or partially load a dart by priming incorrectly. Using incompatible darts is also a possibility.I've had mine for around a year and my plunger tube is still fine and I've never experienced a jam. I would not recommend this blaster for small children and it certainly shouldn't be used without eye protection. The full power version fires too hard to be used in most UK houses truth be told.As a side note the new Fury-X(pictured for comparison) is essentially a reworked version of the Longshot at less than half the price. It loses some features and functionality but it's more compact. The high powered version of the Fury-X is currently shipping from Amazon but the version on the shelves of your local Toy store is gimped.X-Shot are the only real option for affordable, off the shelf, high powered blasters in the UK.Great blasters at an affordable price.
