Perfect!
I bought this after I rescued a feral kitten. That was a few months ago. She loves this! It is perfect as we are getting her house trained and she is able to have her litter box, bed, food, everything all in one space with plenty of room. She is in a safe location when we are needing to have the front door open for extended periods of time and now that she is use to it, she even takes naps as we have this located in our living room. Very sturdy, holding up to her rough play of jumping on top of it and scratching the sides. Would highly recommend.

Very easy setup
We bought this as a temporary home for a feral TNR when we learned he wasn't healthy enough to be released after the surgery. It pops up so easily and is light weight. The smaller enclosure with the two zippers is brilliantly designed. So easy to remove the litter tray with the bottom opening, and cleaning is quick with the upper opening. It has enough height for the kitty to sit up and enough room to walk around in. We place the food and water near the front, so it is easy to replace with the zipper opening. The opening between the two compartments is wide enough for kitty to go back and forth comfortably. I honestly can't think of something wrong with it. It works perfectly for what we need. Kitty is feral and scared so we cover the dwelling with blankets to help him stay calm. Great product.

Good quality, very good sized opening, good for smaller or average sized cats.
Very well constructed, and I like that it has a side pocket on the smaller house as well as a very good sized opening between the large and small houses. I didn't end up keeping it because I found a different one that fit my needs better, but my cat seemed to not hate it at least. The material felt fairly thick, not sure how it would stand up to long term use but I would think it would do okay. I liked that it had handles on the sides to move it around easy, but they don't really work if you have a cat inside. Folding it up is not the easiest thing, but thankfully the video is very well shot and after watching it enough times I was able to fold it up very well!Things that I would have liked to have as features:Being able to close off the two houses, as is if you do not have them attached to each other, then it is just an opening that a cat can escape through. I would like to be able to close off the smaller house for litterbox cleaning.A carrying case would have been nice. As is, once folded they are just two loose discs stacked together. It is a bit untidy. The one I ultimately ended up going with also had a small hole in the bottom of the smaller house that zips closed so that you can pour any kicked litter out easily, which is very convenient. The size is ultimately was the reason I returned this, for my chonky 14lb furbaby I just needed a little more room in the smaller house for him to be able to comfortably use his litterbox. The large house was perfectly sized, but the small one was just a few inches too small to be comfortable for him.

Pros and Cons for cat with broken paw
I have a cat with a broken paw and trying to keep a VERY active cat on basically bed rest is a nightmare. So far this and the competitor product seem best (photo shown for comparison). I’ve also tried an outdoor system from Chewy which hasn’t been good. I have since bought a certain other Amazon brand’s 3 pod version of this type of product (see photos and you can guess which one. This review will compare both and the pros and cons. For those with a cat with a broken leg, I also highly recommend putting your cat in a harness and on a leash before removing them from their crate - it’s helped me catch my cat and pill him. A baby sock over the cast also keeps the cast clean and is washable.BLUF: for a very active and/or cat, I think set up is a bit small and challenging. But for someone with a smaller cat, this is the preferable product with a better build quality and design (I’ve posted a review on the other product). The zippers are better quality and better placement on this and I’m worried my cat will escape the new 3 pod unit but he’s a big guy and was tracking litter everywhere. He also peed outside his litter box and the floor fabric hasn’t come entirely clean. Smell is gone due to Nature’s miracle foam and the fabric floor of the unit was not damaged (and my wood floor underneath stayed dry) but it looks bad.The design features on this unit may make cleaning litter box much easier, but the floor material on this one seems harder to clean. I will report back once I’ve used the other unit more.I also have specific design requests/suggestions for improvement. I will post a version of this review on both sites. Honestly if a company could fulfill my design requests (see comments below) I’d happily buy yet another iteration as we’re only 2 weeks into 6-8 weeks of my cat being on rest and he’s making me lose my mind with his escape attempts and vocal complaints.Pros:- Good build quality and design features. As mentioned above, pulling the litter box out is easy. The other 3 pod system doesn’t have as many zippers and some of them are very awkwardly placed or just sewn in badly. My cat is an escape artist and I worry he’ll take advantage of a badly sewn in zipper to escape (he did it on something else). It’s easier to access in various ways. The two zippers on the top opening were a little confusing at first but do add stability while allowing it to fold up.- easier to do quick cleaning. The pod zippers are at the top, so I can unzip a pod and wash it off without having to half turn it upside down first.- bigger floor space. I know my kitty litter box fits in this pod. I haven’t yet set up the other one and am a bit worried about it being a squeeze.- I like that this is lightweight and not metal. I borrowed a metal puppy play pen when the accident first happened and caught my cat climbing the fence. Having him enclosed from all sides with no handy mental climbing rungs has helped.Cons- As mentioned above I had a hard time keeping my cat tidy and keeping kitty litter away from his food. I will see if the competitor’s 3 pod system works better for that purpose. I like the idea of a separate section for food.- as mentioned above, while the flooring is very waterproof, it’s got a fuzziness to it that I find hard to get completely clean particularly with clay litter. I have not yet ‘road tested’ the competitor.- the elastic bands for storage are not sewn on and I fear I will have lost them. Competitor comes with a storage case which makes sense given how dirty these crates can get.- this is oriented toward access more on one side/configuration which is annoying as not ideal for the space I have.Design suggestions:- I wish these came with a zip on cover or door so I could keep my cat contained while I remove his litter box pod for cleaning.- I wish this came with expansion options. With how active and vocal my cat is, and the fact that a lot of American homes have the space, I would happily buy and add on more units to give him more space to roam around and more space away from his kitty litter. - THIS is the ONLY reason I am trying the competitor. I would have happily bought two of these units and zipped them together if that had been an option. My cat is on lock down for weeks so giving him extra space is helpful. I could remove the extra units at night to keep him more contained. Or if you could sell a zip on longer mesh hallway that would allow more space for him to get his paws clean. I have an outdoor unit with a long mesh tunnel and I our a puppy pad under there and vacuum and it gets the litter off, but it doesn’t work well in the house.- I’d like accessories. I’m trying a litter catching mat to catch litter but it’s not a great fit for either product. If you sold a litter catching mat or a bedding mat cut to fit the size I would buy them (multiple of the bedding may). Washing his bedding regularly helps me keep him cleaner. My car also overturns his water dish, which creates a puddle that could get his cats wet (it’s not supposed to get wet) so I’m regularly washing and drying bedding which serves to soak up water.Again a good product for a smaller less active cat.

Roomy and just perfect! The cat loves it!
This is absolutely perfect! It was so easy to set up (it sets itself up -- uncoils and is ready to go in less than a minute). It is a really great size -- much roomier than I thought it would be. And it seems to be very sturdy. I had a stray cat give birth to 4 kittens on my porch over the weekend, so I ordered this to bring them inside but also keep them safe from my own pets. It is ideal and the mother seems to really love it.
