I love the style of the black latch! I had a bronze standard knob but wanted to upgrade. I selected the non-locking version of the latch as we have an electronic fingerprint deadbolt. (Seen in the pictures) The entire family uses it as our primary entry device. If the lower knob-latch is locked, it defeats the automated lock and can stop us from entering with our personal code or fingerprints. The extra parts were helpful, that way it can work with your original setup.

Product appears well built and sturdy.Con: I wish the strike plate was removable. All the existing passage doors in my home do not have strike plates. They were installed with the latch hole ring. I need to mortise all the doors edges strike plates in which In was unaware pre purchase

This review will be a lot shorter than most of my reviews, but what can I say… these were a breeze to install (about 5 minutes per door including removal of old knobs), really made a difference (subtle but noticeable) in elevating my home, affordable and solid quality. I had recently purchased from another brand for my parents home and the quality felt cheap. I recommend this product and this brand.

I am HIGHLY impressed with this product. These doorknobs are solidly constructed of heavy duty metal. They come with two types of latch plates to match your existing plates. The plates have a peel away plastic coating to protect the finish during install. There was an extra screw in each of the five boxes in case you needed it. They installed very easily and look great on my doors. A relatively inexpensive upgrade that brings functionality and style for an affordable price. I am planning on purchasing additional knobs to finish the house. Great purchase!

Solid - comes with everything you need. Coating seems very durable. Comes with matching strike/latch plates, etc.

Had the contractor installed it and no problems for a few days. Then started to get a little squeaky. Solved with WD40, but given the short time that we had it for, this should not have been necessary.

the 45 degree limit actually doesn't allow the door to open, had to remove the hinges to get it unlocked, never using again
