The cushion material seems comfortable and durable. I suspect they will last longer than the leatherette version.The challenge is replacing them, considering there are no instructions. But, now that I've done it, don't hesitate - they're easy to replace. Here's how:* First, turn one of the old cushions hard counter clockwise. There are tabs that line up in a hard plastic ring the cushion is attached to, and connect it to the headphone, Turning counter clockwise will release the plastic ring and the cushion.* remove the cushion from then plastic ring. It has an adhesive holding it that's easy to scrape off.* attach the new cushion, slipping the lip around the plastic ring. Note the "L" and "R" symbol printed on the cushion, and make sure that after you've attached the cushion and ring back on the headphone, the letter will be vertical. This ensures the oval of the cushion will fit your ear correctly.* be sure you keep the foam filter that is just hanging loose inside the cup of the headphone. Just be careful to mostly keep it centered.* put the new cushion on the headphone, alighting the tabs and the gaps. When you've got it on, turn it clockwise firmly. There may be a "snap" sound as the tabs click into place.* if all the tabs didn't align correctly, just remove it and try again. It's actually pretty simple, once you get the hang of how it is assembled.* hope that helps!

I ripped off my old boltune ear pieces not knowing they would be ruined . They were old anyway. I can’t figure out how to get them back on so I bought these.I can’t figure out how to get them on probably seal them with a screwdriver . Cheat sheet - they just stay on my ears and fit the headphones without even being on . I used NO pads on my ears for 2 weeks. That was hard & hurt my ears - point being these are nice and comfy and semi hard memory foam / mesh. They will last much much longer they won’t peal off like the fake leather . If you want comfy nice padded ear pads . You’ll love these . Good luck getting them on you can tape them on , or if your smart you’ll figure it out . I’m just happy to have them now .

I love these - they fit perfectly and are super comfortable! Love the material - it feels more durable than the plastic/rubbery ones.

They fit my headphones and the installation was easy, even thou they don't provide any instructions. The cloth on the exterior seems resistant, and more durable than the original "fake leather" Boltune uses. My problem with this is that the foam is very hard and it hurts my ears.
