Functional, practical, sensible, basic.
Exceeds the cost in value for your $$, which means that these are a good baseline for having the needles which you need. They are abundant and functional, and entirely adequate. These are not going to be your favorites. They are not satiny, or pretty, or distinctive. Be careful of snagging...sharp spots can be buffed out with your emery board or nail file, or just by rubbing hard...these are not a work of craft, but when you need a particular set of double pointed needles, you will find it in this set. They arrive in a plasticine baggie, so be prepared to figure out storage. It's probably best to get your rubber bands out so you can keep your groups together. Nothing glamorous here, but functional and inexpensive. Hooray for bamboo!

Great value
These DPNs are definitely not the best quality, but they are good enough! And for the PENNIES that they cost, I really cannot complain. The coating on them makes them not glide super well, but they aren’t rough, don’t splinter, and they get the job done. I don’t use DPNs often, only using them for projects too small for my circs, and since I don’t use them much, I didn’t want to spend much on them. These were a great compromise between cost, quantity (I love how it covers all the main sizes), and quality. I would recommend them to anyone who, like me, wants something functional and for a low cost.

Good purchase
Good purchase for the price. A few needles broke while using but most were durable. A few needles had rough burrs but most were smooth and very nice to use.

Good purchase.
These were purchased so I could try out DPNs for shaping the crown on the beanies I'm working on. I prefer the look of a non-gathered crown for beanies intended for male family members and I struggle with working decreased rounds with Magic Loop on circular needles. This set of DPNs offered all the sizes I need, they're not too long, they're lightweight, and the bamboo seems to help keep yarn from slipping off the needles. Sizes are marked on the needles in tiny print, so I plan to label each individual sleeve (each sleeve holds a full set of 5 needles per size) to make needle identification easier. For the price, I think it was a good purchase.

EXCEPTIONAL PRICE!!
I seriously don’t know how anyone could complain about 15 sets of double-point needles at this price point. I’m ECSTATIC! I’ve been knitting for over 50 years, and would normally spend $7.69 (the total price of my order) for one set. Some of the critiques are accurate. The writing may appear vague on a couple of the needles. However, most double-point needles I’ve ever purchased have NO writing, you simply have to use a needle gauge to determine the size. I didn’t find that any of mine had snags, but using a little piece of sandpaper would easily solve that problem. The smaller needles are quite flexible, but for the weight of yarn you’d be working with, it shouldn’t put undo strain on them. And lastly, if the points are found to be dull, they could be sanded to sharpen the edge as bamboo is a natural product, not plastic or metal. The sizes are in millimeters as follows: 10, 9, 8, 6.5, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.5, 4, 3.75, 3.5, 3.25, 2.75, 2.25 and 2. I don’t often leave reviews, but I simply had to for these needles. Are they perfect? No. Are they worth the price? YES! My advice would be to get them before Amazon figures out what a steal these are for the price, and increases it!!

Surprisingly great!
I’m a beginner and I made the mistake of buying an expensive set which didn’t work for me. I decided that if I can learn on cheaper tools, then upgrading later, after building muscle memory, will matter more. But unexpectedly, I absolutely love these. I like the slight resistance. As a beginner, I can control movement a little better. The only minor issue is that not all the tips are equally pointy. But they are good enough. I haven’t had any issues because of it. I’m happy. I don’t see the need for anything more expensive.

Get metal instead
Admittedly, I am relatively new to knitting so I know I lack technique and maybe that played a part. I used these to finish the crowns on beanies for my family. The yarn thicknesses varied as did the sizes. While the yarn slid easily on the needles and they are lightweight, the points started to split causing lots of snagging, and finally broke off completely (sizes US 2.5 and 3). Had to switch ends or use broken to finish by Christmas. Ordered aluminum this time. Won't get these again.

Lots of needles for low price. Knitting slides nicely and easy to use. The needles are not all standard sizes if measuring with a needle ruler and the marking on them is poor, so hard to see what size they are.
