I was excited to try this protein powder since I have been using vegan protein powders for a while and wanted to try something new. I started using vegan protein powders in 2023 when I was nursing my son and he had food protein induced allergic proctocolitis. I had to cut out dairy and soy from my diet and other protein sources so I started using plant protein powders that were dairy and soy free. I initially tried some other brands but wasn't a fan of how thick they were. My husband initially bought me this one to try a few months ago and I really loved the flavor. The flavor does not taste artificial at all and the powder mixes very well. The quality seems to be very good and also has so many vitamins and minerals. A huge plus for me is that it contains iron since I tend to be iron deficient. I thought it was also great value for what I paid. I am excited to try other flavors since the coconut macaron flavor is delicious.

So I drink a protein shake every morning after a workout. I have one of those single drink blenders and always blend with ice to make a smoothie like consistency. This protein powder does not blend well. It’s super fine and dense so when I blend it, it’s like blending peanut butter. I have to shake it up and move it around at least twice for it to thoroughly blend. The taste is great. I got the coconut macaroon and it’s really good! Very sweet almost too sweet but I blend it with other things to neutralize the sweetness. Im going to try blending with an avocado, maybe that will help blend the powder better. I tried 1/2 banana, and same sticky gunk happened in my blender. Idk. I think the price is fair for the oz you get. I like that it’s plant protein. I’m a big Dymatize girl. I love that brand of protein but not sure if it’s vegan friendly.

Doesn’t taste or smell like coconut. And this is what I was looking for.

This is my first time using a protein powder and this one seems pretty good. The powder dissolves well in shakes, bowls and even oatmeal. It has a bit of an after taste but if you mix it with a nut butter, I feel like it minimizes it. It comes off a little sweet tasting sometimes but overall I'm enjoying it. I also didn't realize it came with a scoop inside until I was half way done so look for it when you open it for a more accurate measurement.
