Blue Beetle (4K Ultra HD + Digital)

Excellent movie!

The Blue Beetle reminds me of Mainly Marvel's Iron Man because Riaz's suit is highly-intelligent A.I. sophisticated technology, he flies around, agile and strong like Spider-Man, and uses martial arts like the characters do in the Cobra Kai TV show. It's a perfect movie with the right blend of action, comedy, suspense, great family interactions, the hero falls in love with a beautiful woman, and the plot is interesting. Even though the film has an origin story like so many super-hero movies that some fans get tired of, it makes sense for the writer of the movie to show the origin since Blue Beetle is not as popular as the main popular super-heroes: Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Goku and Vegeta from Dragonball Z, The Flash, and Harley Quinn. I recommend not watching the movie too many times at first, because it may get old to you, BUT I think that watching it every so often reminds you how fun, exciting, and timeless it is. It has a sci-fi feel to it too. If you like the alien symbiotes Venom and Carnage from Marvel Comics, this movie is to a point down your alley. 'Nuff Said. Ciao!

I cannot understand why this movie flopped and has a kind of bad reputation. It’s a wonderful superhero movie. Yes, it is a classic and predictable superhero origin story, but it is very enjoyable. There is nothing wrong with following the overall classic formula and just doing it well, it was honestly kind of refreshing. His suit also looks incredible. I personally think this is actually one of DC’s best. It’s not some groundbreaking film with pretentious commentary on society or the human condition or whatever, it’s just a good time. I would even venture to say if you don’t enjoy this you need to loosen up a bit.

Blue Beetle is an okay movie as far as I'm concerned. There isn't anything exceptional about it to be honest. It doesn't have any elements to help it stand out and something that I'd want to see again and again. Some of the humor is good throughout the movie, but it reads like - "Oh, don't open this box. But they open it and while things get wild, it all works out." It's a "been there done that" lack of originality thing for me. Not familiar with the comics, so can't say as to whether movie ties closely to them or not, but can't really say that if there was a second movie I'd be clambering to watch it. My daughter enjoys it, so at the end of the day...I guess that's all that matters.

A really great movie to watch. Soo good and I will watch it often. The actors are great to watch. Not just the young ones but the fathers and mothers and especially the grandmother who steals the show in some scenes. Just loved it.

This is a super hero film, like Shazam, that does not take itself too serious. Actually, with George Lopez as the sarcastic uncle of this loving Hispanic family--how could you go wrong. Good story with a reluctant hero who rises to the occasion with alien Ironman abilities. Not the best DC film, but far from the worst for sure.
