does the dual monitor support shown in the middle in the picture come with the desk?

The monitor stands are pictured being installed on the sides, but is it easy to install them instead in the center and use them as primary stands?

As stated, the holes are preset. However, you could likely contact the maker and find out what material you need to install your own in the center. This would require drilling out holes and additional parts.

The brackets in step 6 (p9 and p10) don't fit on the frame. one hole lines up but the other doesn't. any advice putting these on?

How tall is it from the floor to bottom of the desk?

Approximately 72 cm, however the keyboard tray (when stored under desk) reduces this by about 12 cm.
