Was very impressed with the material, sturdiness, and size especially based on how cheap this is compared to other bookcases!! Would definitely buy again. Super easy to assemble.

I like that the edges are all rounded, and the wood has some sort of textured coating on it to prevent scuffs. It feels very sturdy. The color is a warm light wood color, which feels vibrant and fun for a playroom.

Was able to assemble by myself in 30 minutes. Sturdy shelf with plenty of space for storage! Design help deter kids from climbing. Easy to move where I need and just the right size for my need.

I selected this shelf out of the myriad of other options primarily due to the dimensions & deeper 'bins' on the bottom. What wasn't clear from the listing, either in the description or photos, is that the shelf is made of ply with a lightly textured plastic laminate finish. My first clue should've been the 'wipeable finish,' and although a plastic laminate would not have been my first choice, I was happy enough with the overall product for the price to keep it. That said, there are benefits to plastic laminate - it isn't going to ding or chip like plywood will, and the resulting finish is waterproof.The assembled shelf is very sturdy, though it doesn't come with hardware to secure to the wall, so you'll have to get that yourself. The size & capacity is perfect for our toddler's room, with enough space for books, blocks, & stuffed animals. The piece is finished nicely, all the pieces were in perfect condition & the exposed plywood edges are sanded smooth & finished with a clear varnish. It's a nice touch.TLDR; I recommend this for anyone hunting for a reasonably priced, sturdy toy shelf that can accommodate lots of toys within a smaller footprint. Just be aware that it is a plastic laminate featuring a digitally printed wood grain over plywood.

I adore this shelf. It was easy to put together, it is very high quality, and it is very sturdy. I like that the base is wide, so when my 8 month old tries to climb up and grab something, it doesn’t teeter or topple. Loved it so much that I bought two of them!

I actually really like this shelf. It’s sturdy once I was able to figure out how to put it together. It holds quite a lot of toys and books. Looks very nice in a small room.

Love the storage on the bottom for stuffed animals.

It was extremely hard to asssemble this storage unit with cracked wood and it was a gift I sent to my sister in Vancouver so she wasn’t going to return it. I left a message to the seller and never heard back from them. I would not recommend buying this there are other options

What's also appreciated is the use of unique numbering for every part which makes following instructions easier. Every part is numbered with an easy to remove stickerAssembly:The installation was a breeze because of the numbering of each part and honestly it's not a complicated furniture, so you won,t have to be concerned at assembling this. The hardware is solid, and it does come with an allen key but honestly I use my drill with hex drill bits instead of allen keys, so, if you have a drill, do buy a set hex bits, that will save you loads of time.nearly every part lined up perfectly. The very last panel I had to fight just a bit to get the holes lined up, but once that worked out, considering I use a drill with the hex bits, it went right in. Doing this by hand with the allen key may prove more difficult, so if that happens, loosen a few other panels and that will help to align everything up.Assembled:This is heavy compared to comparable IKEA's MDF or pine wood furniture even. The reason this is heavy is because it's nearly all plywood, 9 layers. I honestly can't complain because plywood has a stable nature to it and will not warp with time.The only nitpick I can do on this is the edges do show the plywood layers instead of having those sides finished to look cleaner. Other than that small detail, everything else is very well thought of. We started using this to store books into a shelf that kids can use instead of a larger bookshelf that can be dangerous for them if too tall.The other bonus also is since this is wood, nothing stops you from sanding and painting it into whatever color you need. You can't do that with non-wood furniture, so wood is practical for the longer run.

This is a great shelf for kids. We were able to easily assemble it in a few minutes. It is laminate. It's attractive, and so for the child who needs an organizational unit, this can be very helpful. We like it.
