Simple tool but gets the job done
Great for taking tiles off the wall but have to be careful on drywall - I haven’t used it on floor tiles but should be as good.

A big heavy lever tool, more at home removing skirting boards than car trim.
This lever tool is quite heavy-duty, made from thick steel with reinforcing ribs. It has a sharp tapered fore-edge, with a central cutout to allow it to get around fixings. It is ideal for easing apart lengths of wood and the like that are nailed or glued together. It can be levered and rocked and worked along skirting boards, door stops etc, and will do the less damage to surfaces than say a chisel, due to its width. It looks like this might have been its original purpose. The tool is less suited to a secondary role, of removing trim panels in vehicles. I found it rather unwieldy, and I worried about scratching the paintwork, or damaging the trim with the sharp edges. There will be some areas where it may be useful, but generally, the smaller plastic and smooth metal tools are safer on cars. If you need the leverage this tool can exert, something is probably going to break.I am not sure about the hexagonal cutouts. They bring to mind an old bicycle spanner, but look less practical. But as a general-purpose lifter lever tool, this is quite good. The current price is £20.99. With the 50% voucher applied, it is much more palatable.

Solid pry tool
Brilliant, worked spot on getting a load of skirting boards off and a bit of coving. The whole tool is well made, it’s simple but very good, the handle is a tick and very grippy silicone or whatever it is which is very easy to grip with sweaty hands. The tool has got a support crease that gives it a lot of strength, I have given this thing some grief hacking off some pieces that were glued and nailed to within an inch of its life and it still looks new just a little dusty. The back can take some hammering as well and keeps its shape and the flat edge means it doesn’t dig into the wall and gauge out a load of plaster while you’re doing it.Top tool, simple but job saver. Good price.

Larger and Heavier Than Expected But Is a Great Tool
I have been doing a lot of work with upgrading trims and the look of the inside of my Jaguar XF so removing things like door trims has been a big part of it. I was using small plastic trim tools but they were not strong enough for many of the tasks. When I saw this it looked the ideal solution so I ordered it and it has made many of the tasks so much easier. On opening, this device is much larger and heavier than I was expecting it to be however this is a good thing as it is not going to break if extra weight needs to be applied for any of the trim removals.Looking at this unit it has an easy to grip handle section and at the front is a solid metal thin wedge which can get into the tightest of gaps for levering. Around the surface of the metal section are some spanner type cutouts which could be used to loosen nuts and bolts however I found those to be very awkward so I still prefer to just use a normal socket or spanner. The edge of the wedge is pretty sharp so it does need to be handled with some care but this allows the tool to easily be pushed down behind trim sections and then by simply levering the handle lightly the trim just pops off.I always try to get close to where the retaining clips are when removing trims so as to not rip the panels and when using this tool I found it quite easy to slide up close to the retainers once pushed down.Very solid tool that works very well but care should be taken.Recommended.

More for house than car
This is a lot heftier (such a word?) than I was expecting. Actually, really great for if you need to get some skirting boards off as we did. I'm not sure it would be best suited for the trim of a small car... maybe a van or larger vehicle? I can see it being useful in the house.

A Bit Heavy Duty For Car Trims
This is quite a heavy duty trim remover, I don't think it's the kind of tool I would use to remove trim in my car I will stick to the plastic trim removers for that, but anything else such as skirting boards or anything along those lines this should be the tool to use, quite weighty made of a decent thickness steel it should take a few knocks with a hammer and ok to use as a pry.I am not sure about the spanner slots I would not use this to undo nuts I have better tools for that but I guess no harm some might find those useful like the bottle opener.
