The bonus trash bin is the best part for me! It fits in the cup holder and holds all the tiny bits of trash, (tissues, etc.), that need a place to be stored every day. The larger trash bag will be very handy on long trips - and even doubles as a mini-cooler! Very happy with this purchase. P.S.

Good trash bag for my car. I don't carry rear passengers that often, so I hang the bag from the headrest of the passenger side front seat. It does encroach on rear seating area, especially if the passenger seat is pushed all the way back. As for the bag itself, it is well made, closes pretty securely with velcro, and generally works well for me.

Nicely made... a bit small to be used as a trash can in the car. I use it for a small, soft-sided travel cooler. Only one handle, so if you have heavy things in it, the velcro closure doesn't hold and it hangs open (I guess as it should if it's primary use is as a trash can). 4 stars only because a 2nd handle would allow it to be carried without popping open.

Has been a handy trash bin in the car. I like how the Velcro keeps it closed (keeps the dogs out of any food scraps) and it's not too big so it doesn't interfere with the passenger's leg room... the bonus can is super-cute... in my case, I'd rather have the use of my cup-holder though, so we keep it in the back for folks to throw away gum wrappers etc. :)

This was something I was very excited about giving to my husband as he tends to believe that the floor of the car is for garbage! I hate traveling in his car because there is always at least one or two weeks worth of McDonald’s straw wrappers, empty cups, food bags, and napkins lining the floor spaces in the car! He just tosses. . wherever! Well, this bag isn’t quite big enough for him, but that’s not why I’m giving it fewer stars; it is because the bag is too difficult to open! It has a velcro closure that snaps shut, which would seem a good thing to keep garbage IN and maybe some liquids IN, but by the time you try to open it to toss something else inside, the force required causes things to fly back out or it pulls your fingers and out of joint! I’m not really exaggerating that last part, because it actually hurt me one time as I was tryin to pry it open. Additionally, the hanging strap is really useless! It gets in the way when placed over the Gear Shift as suggested. Perhaps if you hung it over the passenger seat....while driving alone??The bonus mini-trash bin is “cute,” and would be great for small gum wrappers and such, but mine came with the spring off. I managed to fix it, though. It does take up a cup-holder space, obviously.TRULY, I wish the design for the garbage had some way to attach it to the glove compartment box or something other than the gear shift, and I think the sturdy snap shut/velcro closure should be more of a flap cover, because it inhibits ease of use. I might find another more practical use for it.

Since my wife is a professional organizer she refuses to get into my car because of the empty bottles i keep lying around... you know, just in case. She bought this for me as a surprise and its sturdy, well made and has a great lining so that its easy to reach back and put the garbage in while on the road. There is also some solid structure to it so that it keeps its shape even if its empty.... The cup holder garbage bin is a nice addition.

Our van has no place in the front to place a wastebasket, and I am fussy about where the trash goes -- certainly not on the floor! The basket with Velcro and a strap works perfectly hanging behind the driver's seat. AND the little container with the push lid (a miniature trash can) fits perfectly in a front cupholder. No more excuses for throwing Kleenex, small items, etc., on the floor! Thanks for the duo option.

While I like the primary trash bag, it is smaller than it appears in the picture. I can’t imagine getting all the trash pictured into it. The second can is as cute as it can be, but arrived cracked. I was going to try to glue it, but it looks like the lid is slightly too big for the container so it would just crack it again. It is still usable, but I doubt for long.
