Have an old 5hp Briggs & Stratton motor that wouldn't stay running. The spring and diaphragm replacement did the trick. The diaphragm is thinner than the one it replaced, and the hole patten is not the same. There is one less point to secure it in place compared to the original, but it is still functional. Even if each only lasts 1-2 years, this is a 5 pack and the price right!

I had been trying to get my cement mixer with a Briggs and straton motor to work for a while now and finally someone told me to replace this piece. I ordered these and was able to replace the hard worn out one on the engine my self easily. It fired up immediately after installing it.

These are exactly the same as the OEM Briggs parts and work just as well. These are a frequently replaced part on 5 HP Briggs engines so having a lot of them on hand is beneficial, not to mention the price is hard to beat. They worked on every engine I put them on so far.

These diaphragms are very thin, I don’t think they will hold up !
