Morton Epsom Salt, Eucalyptus, 3 Pound

This is a product for years I have known about and thought it wasn't for sale until I saw it at the store one day and picked up a bottle. It is soooo much easier to use the Epsom salt lotion than to lug bags of salt home and then dissolve into a bath. With this, you can rub it on anywhere that it hurts and it really relieves the ache! When I needed another bottle, the store was out and I knew Amazon would have it, so I ordered more! The lotion is non-scented and if you want to get creative you can add drops of your favorite scented oil such as lavender to be even more soothing!

This Lotion is AMAZING. It's the only non-Glycolic lotion that I value for medicinal purposes. It's Great for achey body-parts, helps a sore back right away - & sore feet or legs. It's also soothing, just like an epsom salt bath. We are all short on Magnesium in our bodies as well, & it fights parasites & fungus (including candidas). It's Beautiful!! You can even put some on your face. It makes your skin soft too. It's very nice!! And the guys will love it as much as the girls, if not More - very unisex. The guys that think they don't like or need lotion, will ask for this after they've used it.

This lotion helps to temporarily relieve pain and soreness as well as the CVS brand I used to use. The one downside is that this brand leaves dry white residue on your hands, where the other brand didn't. If they could find a way to alleviate that, I'd give it five stars.

I started the Keto (very low carb) diet and had some muscle cramps (mostly in the calves) in the first few weeks. I knew that they were caused by lack of magnesium so I figured I'd give this a shot. I rubbed it in on my calves and I could feel the tension go away. It wasn't 100% gone but it definitely helped. I decided to just suck it up and take a magnesium supplement and bam, cramps gone for good. My only big complaint with this lotion is that it leaves a rather obvious white cast on your skin. If you're shockingly white like me, not big deal. But if you have darker skin, you might not like this lotion. If it will be used under clothes, it's probably fine for anyone.

A little background. I suffer from horrifyingly, painful Fibromyalgia Disease (FMS) and a few other things, too. My Physical Therapist recommended that I purchase this product in combination with "Glycerin and Bubble Bath (see below)" to sooth my horrifyingly, aching body while taking a bath. You combine, "2 cups of Epsom Salts, 1 teaspoon of Glycerin, and 50 Drops of the Bubble Bath (see next sentence), then place under running water in your bathtub. Also, I purchased (from AMAZON) THE "Active Organics Bubble Bath Cedar SPA - Anti Stress in (Ceder Scent (manly scent)," so that i would end up "smelling very manly (wood like..ish)" and boy howdy; I do get attention. (Yes, ladies, there is Lavender Scent , too). The end result is that the combination of these three products they they sooth your entire body, really awesome! I am very satisfied, and recommend this product to everyone that suffers from Fibromyalgia Disease (FMS) and any "type of body and/or specific type of back pain"!

Works great for pain associated with ovarian cysts and/or endometriosis. Just dissolve about 2 cups of Epsom salt into a hot bath and soak for 10-15 minutes. Eases and soothes pain and achiness associated with these conditions. I've used several different brands of Epsom salt, and the Morton product works best, as the salt crystals are milled very fine, which allows them to dissolve quickly and easily. Other less expensive grocery store brands I've tried are much coarser, taking longer to dissolve and not as luxurious feeling. I pour the bag into a clear glass canister and place on the sink, it looks decorative and is practical. Also, it helps to sooth the paws of allergic dogs, when soaked for 5 minutes in a shallow tub of water consisting of a tablespoon or so of the salt.

I use Epson salt mixed with some sea salt for my weekly bathes...this one, however, gave my skin a terrible rush (although one would wonder what can go wrong with epsom salt? and Morton is pretty realiable brand in my opinion)...Amazon's customer service is superb - they immediately reimbursed me the cost. I continue to use Epsom salt but from other vendors.

I purchased this lotion so that I wouldn't have to make my own magnesium oil lotion. I received it and it's very liquid goes on well but gives me a sticky feeling on the surface of my skin. I really don't like tHe effect, it feels like cheap lotion, I suspect it's synthetic ingredients that are causing it. I'm going to go back to making magnesium oil creams and lotions. It's very easy. I make magnesium oil or magnesium alcohol by adding boiling water to magnesium flakes or steeping them in alcohol...then adding to Shea butter or lotions or other stuff that you prefer your hand cream and body lotions to be made up of. I don't notice any pain relief you there unfortunately. I have a lot of pain in my hands and my back and my ankles and it hasn't helped at all.
