RMTECH BN59-01178W Universal Remote Control Replacement for Samsung LED LCD Smart TV

First one we got was the wrong remote, but that is ok! With in 48 hours we got the right model. Our daughter poured a cup of water on our original from 4 years ago. I was worried we would have to spend the $45-60 I was seeing them for, till I came across this remote.We thought when we got it, oh great no set up instructions. But it really was as easy as put in batteries and go! It works just like the original! A little lighter weight, and mildly different color buttons, you can tell it is not a Samsung product, feels a bit cheaper, but for the price and functionality it is a great replacement!

This remote is absolutely JUNK!Very hard to push buttons and doesn't react without holding and pushing button till you fingers turn blue.I don't recommend buying this remote and is not original as stated. My original was made in Mexico and this one is made in China. The original made in Mexico went South due to the copper top batteries that leaked acid.I bought another remote for $4.00 more. they claimed it was original. It was built in China but all the components interchange with the one made in Mexico that came with the Smart TV when new.

This arrived within two days via prime. Exactly as promised, PREPROGRAMMED! All I had to do was put in my two AAA batteries and it was ready to go. EXTREMELY SATISFIED! I'm ordering another so that I have a back up! Thanks for a great product and great service!

Stopped working after only two weeks. I did not see a place to return it, which is what I want to do. It was difficult to set up and then stopped working. In order to get an additional fire stick remote, we had to buy a new fire stick. This was a waste of money.

It does not work with my Samsung UN46B6000VF 46 inch TV. Lesson here is, get your TV's model number on the back and check its compatibility with the remote you plan to buy. I am returning this remote. Interestingly, a $2 universal remote I bought from a local dollar store works with my TV when programmed.

Literally no programming necessary! Item was said to have been delivered Tuesday but never arrived until Thursday due to what appeared to be a shipping error (the item was inside of a typical yellow shipping bag which was then inside an Amazon prime bag with two red stickers, one which said error. I don't have Amazon prime though so I don't know what that was about haha.) Other than the unfortunate shipping problem, the item was in perfect condition and used the same batteries on the old control. The buttons are harder than the previous controls buttons which will take some getting used to but it's nothing that prevents usage of it. Definitely recommend if you need a new one!

Our original Samsung TV remote broke when my husband dropped it on the hard floor. Bought this one to replace it, and then bought a second one for me. Now we both have control. They have the same functionality as the original remotes.

Love this remote. Came preprogrammed, is very similar to the remote that came with my TV. Longer than original remote, but this makes it less likely to be lost. I purchased this to replace remotes that are in storage.
